The great opportunity is where you are.True greatness consists of being great in little things.
I never knew what I'll be when I grow up but that wasn't that important because I was still 14years old and I had other important things in my mind like getting a new wrist watch, yes Lanco wrist watch which almost everyone in my school had as a gift from their parents, uncle, aunty etc. Buying a wrist watch wasn't on my parents list because they had other important things to buy.
My dad bought a red old bicycle for just for me just to save money instead of taking bus to school,but that doesn't mean I never did. I did most of my homework in the bus so I got money from my mum. I had a red old 50's bicycle that had only one gear meanwhile my friends bicycle had multiple gears and I use to be jealous; anyways that wasn't my problem, my problem was to get Lanco wrist watch, but how? I decided to do something.
I went round looking for work, I knocked on a few doors and was turned down,so I went to the soap and oil factory very close to my house. I saw a middle aged man by the corner in the factory I said hello to him and asked if they have any job for me that I can do. Yes I got the job and I was paid 5 shillings ,1bar of long blue soap and 750m oil every month; and guess what? I got my Lacon wrist watch.
