THE SILENT KILLER OF REAL ESTATE CARRIER
In Nigeriaβs real estate market, not every agent is a hero.
Some are just middlemen chasing commissions.
But a true is a bodyguard for their client's money!.
Sadly, many agents in Nigeria just want their commission.
They don't care if the property is overvalued, if the title is faulty, or if the property is structurally defective.
As long as they get their share, they look the other way.
But thatβs not how a real real estate agent should behave.
An agent's real job?
π To protect the clientβs money like it's their own.
π To inspect every inch of the property.
π To verify the documents with a fine-tooth comb.
π To negotiate the best price possible.
π To warn the client when something looks fishy β even if it means losing the deal!
An agent is supposed to be the clientβs shield against heartbreak and financial disaster.
Imagine paying for a property, only to find out six months later that the land is under government acquisition.
Or worse β imagine discovering that two other people bought the same property!
No client deserves that.
No agent should allow that.
When a client wants to buy or rent a property, they are putting their trust β and often their life savings β in the agentβs hands.
And that is why:
β
If you want to build a real estate career with a difference,
β
If you want clients to trust you, refer you, and even worship your professionalism,
β
Then you must ensure that every client gets full value for every kobo they spend.
Be the agent who makes clients sleep with two eyes closed, not the one who causes endless court cases.
If you found this post eye-opening, donβt keep it to yourself.
