The issue about teaching of CRK and IRK separately in public schools gave you another opportunity to raise your addictive false alarm.
When Presidents are seen in Islamic Robes, in front row of prayers in the mosques and other religious places or with notable religious scholars around the globe, you raise eye brow that the country is being portrayed as an Islamic State.
Then your retired generals including, Theophilus Danjuma, Joshua Dogonyaro and Zamani Lekwot and elders like; Elder Solomon Asemota, Elder Moses Ihonde, Elder Shyngle Wigwe and Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife went to meet the president to make false a bellyache of Islamization of the country.
But you forget that,
All courses from primary to university are being taught in English, the language which Nigerian Christians are reading their bible. Yet Nigerian Muslims never cry of Christianization.
Muslims must go to work on Fridays but Saturdays and Sundays are declared weekends for Christians to go churches. That’s not Christianization enough.
Of 16 years of PDP rule: 14 years were for southern Christians and only 2 years were for Muslims. Yet there was no brawl of Christianization
For years Christianity was the only religious knowledge taught in public schools, while the Muslims were denied the opportunity to learn their religion and its language. It didn’t look like Christianization.
Our assembly morning prayer sessions in school was compulsorily in Christian Lord's prayers for all students irrespective of faiths. Where we had to close our eyes and recite the Lord’s prayer and sing Christmas Carol. Many of us can still sing these songs without problem. This still did not translate to Christianization.
Do you still remember you went round Public schools distributing Bibles? There was hardly any student who owned not one. The similitude was done in public hospitals placing Bibles at the heads of patients all in the name of praying for them. This was not Christianization.
The removal of Arabic Ajami script from the Naira Notes during Jonathan’s regime did not also mean satisfying your religious bigotry, forgetting that the Hausa-Fulani was long Arabic speaking before Nigeria got her independence. Moreover, English is also a Westo-Christian Language. No one is addressing the Cross Symbol of health used in hospitals.
When the president Ayo Orisejafor was involved in a purported S9.3 arms deal in 2014 with two Nigerians and an Isreali, no one saw it as Christianization. What would have been the aftermath if the Sultan owned the jet?
So, why have you been shouting wolves where there is none?
Is it to blindfold us of the ongoing Christianization in the country?
Or the only way Christian leaders in the country can galvanize their base in an attempt to remain relevant?
Is it a plan to frustrate the unity, peace and progress in the country or a plan to take us back in to the mud, or to cause dissonance in our consonance?
Why are you invariably becoming alarmists, schizophrenics and self-delusional?
So I say,
If appearing in modest attires free of immorality and debauchery on TV is what you call Islamization, then let’s Islamize it.
If Oloyede is blocking all loopholes of corruption in Jamb sector and remit N5b from Jamb to the coffers of the Federal Government is what you call Islamization, then, let’s Islamize it.
If Dr Amina Muhammed who has strong background in global affairs, development, diplomacy, human rights and humanitarian action, making her the 5th deputy secretary-general of UN is also Islamization, then let’s Islamize it.
If Professor Attahiru Jega’s display of maturity and political sagacity to Godsday Orubebe’s outburst and disruption of 2015 election process is what you call Islamization, then, let’s Islamize it
If having PMB, Sultan Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Justice Ayo Salami and world Judge; Justice Bola Ajibola, as qualitative and not quantitative Nigerians is what threatens you of Islamization, then let’s Islamize it.
After all, if you claim to be educated then education needs another definition.
Addendum: Don't forget that Arabic is a language taught in schools and you call it a way of Islamising!!! I disagree with the Christians, what happens to music being taught as a subject in schools? Muslims don't use music in the mosques as act of worship!!! What else do you have to say???
