About Yesterday; "the International Day of the Boy Child".
We were at QS-Daystar College, Igando to celebrate the Boy Child.
We joined the world to say to the Boy Child; STAND UP, BE HEARD, BE SEEN!
We spoke on Self Esteem and the children shared some causes of low self Esteem and also things which they need to let go off in order to develop a strong and positive self esteem.
We also reiterated to the Boys the fact that the family is one which is vital in building the Nigeria we want and that they need to be good boys, grow as responsible men who will build families that will build the Nation.
At the end of the talk session, Mrs. Azagba Okafor fondly called "Counselor AZ" of the Transforming Lives Consult had a one-on-one counseling session with 3 of the boys.
We also gave out 20 copies of "Building A Strong Esteem" by Dr. OLUMIDE EMMANUEL
We trust God that seeds of greatness were sown and will yield in Jesus name.
Meanwhile, there is a lot of work to be done in the area of teenage counseling and building; the harvest is many but the labourers and resources are few.

The building of our land is in the building of the people.
It is the cumulative efforts of various individuals and organizations that leads to the birth of the Nation that we want.
Today, we will be at Qs-Daystar College, Igando, Lagos to celebrate the boys there in commemoration of the "International Day of the Boy Child".
In line with the theme of this year's International Day of the Boy Child, "Building Self-esteem in Boys: Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen", we would be speaking to the Boys about Self esteem while also addressing various matters that relate to boys especially in the teenage years and also have a free counseling and therapy session with a seasoned and qualified teenage counselor; Mrs. Azagba (Popularly known as Counselor AZ).
We would also be gifting copies of the book "Building a Strong Self Esteem" by Olumide Emmanuel.
Seed of Greatness will be sown and these boys will become men and build families that will build Nigeria into the one we want; the Nigeria of Our Dream.

As we approach the International Day of the Boy Child on May 16th, let's reflect on the importance of nurturing boys' self-esteem.
This year's theme, "Building Self-esteem in Boys: Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen," highlights the need to create spaces where boys can express themselves confidently.
Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." The boys we nurture today will become the men who shape families and communities tomorrow.
What are you doing to support the boys around you? Whether it's your own child or someone in your community, every effort counts. Let's work together to help boys build self-esteem, stand up for what they believe in, and showcase their talents without fear or intimidation.
Let's make a difference in the lives of the boys around us!
We will be celebrating with the boys at QS-Daystar College, Igando, on Friday, May 16th.
Stay tuned for updates!

The 10th edition of our annual secondary school conference; THE GREAT MINDS held on 6th March which was also "The World Book Day 2025".
It was a time to READ OUR WAY into Greatness as the theme for this year's world book Day states "Read Your Way" and it was also a time to discuss about Drug Abuse as the teenagers were enlightened on Drug, Drug Abuse and related matters and discouraged on abusing Drugs.
We had book reading sessions of which we read two books;
"The School of Money" of Dr. Olumide Emmanuel & "The Trials of Brother Johnson"
It was a time of learning, fun and liberation.
The School of Money focused on making, managing and multiplying money while "The Trials of Brother Johnson" was on Drug Abuse.
We appreciate all schools and students in attendance.
We remain committed to building teenagers today for a better tomorrow.
