We'd all agree that the content is most important not the container, but we all have our preference when it comes to reading.
Also, it's a computerized world we live in now, so we all understand the sentiments towards the soft copy format yet there are still oldies like myself who still love the smell of ink on paper (there's just that feeling to it).
Let's hear your thoughts in the comment section,

We all experience change in our lives. It can be distressing or rewarding, depending on our approach. “Who Moved My Cheese” is a parable that demonstrates in practical terms how to handle change better and avoid pitfalls, by practicing a few key principles: anticipate and prepare for change, overcome fears, envision success, and enjoy change. By depicting simple, memorable characters and scenarios, the parable gives you a framework for responding to change successfully.
Through the characters’ triumphs and travails, the story offers lessons and tips for coping successfully with change in our lives by changing our attitudes and behavior.

Here are 10 lessons from the book; WHO MOVED MY CHEESE

1.A lot of people believe that change has a lot to do with emotions, the more reason they find it difficult to embrace it

2.Association is a major factor that affects change. Understand that you cant go on every journey with everybody

3.Change teaches you to make the hardest decisions

4 Don't be too comfortable with the status quo

5.Focus on the potential benefit of change rather than the risk.

6.Establish a plan on how to adapt to change

7.Change doesn'ttt mean forgetting or dumping old things; It means improving or redefining them

8.Failure to a embrace change causes disintegration of knowledge

Hope we learn from this and hopefully it impacts our lives.

BREAKING BARRIERS FOR EDUCATIONAL EQUALITY
(The GEORGE MCLAURIN story)

In the racially charged landscape of 1940s America, a man named George McLaurin found himself at the center of a groundbreaking battle for education for daring to enroll in the University of Oklahoma as the institution's first Black student. This was a direct challenge to the prevailing racial segregation laws that sought to keep Black individuals separate from their white counterparts.

McLaurin, a teacher with a master's degree, applied to the University of Oklahoma for further studies, only to face the harsh reality of segregation. Despite being admitted, McLaurin was subjected to the indignity of segregation within the university. He was forced to sit apart from his white peers, eat in a separate area, and use different facilities.

George McLaurin's fight for equality took a significant turn when he challenged this segregation in court. His case reached the Supreme Court, resulting in a landmark decision in McLaurin v. Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (1950). The Supreme Court ruled that forcing McLaurin into segregated facilities violated the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment. This decision marked a crucial step towards dismantling the legal foundation of segregation in education.

While he may not have received a Nobel Prize, his impact on the Civil Rights Movement and the broader struggle for equal educational opportunities is immeasurable. McLaurin's legacy is a testament to the enduring fight for equality in education that continues to shape our society today.
