Consolidation of CBT
The use of Computer Based Test (CBT) was also consolidated in the course of the just concluded session as all students from Primary 3 to JSS 3 were able to take all their objective examinations and tests using the CBT platform. We are happy to report that many of our pupils continued to respond positively with excitement to the use of the CBT. In addition, Rahmaniyah pupils had the edge of being at home with the use of CBT since they have been using it for over 3 years before the Lagos State Government policy which eliminated the use of pencil and paper test for the Lagos State Model College Entrance Examinations.

NEW ACTIVITY BASED LEARNING PROGRAMMES TO COMMENCE 2021/2022 SESSION
The Management of Rahmaniyah Private School has announced series of activities based learning programs which have been slated to commence next term in order to enhance learning outcomes of all students.
Making the announcement at the Parents Teachers Association meeting held recently at the school premises, The Executive Director, Mr. Rotimi Salau, disclosed to the parents that arrangements are in top gear to start new co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which include Coding & invention, Digital Art works, vegetable farming, fish farming, field trips, age appropriate cooking activities and activity based special days celebrations, such as ‘pan cake day’, ‘my best cartoon character day’ among others.

Improvement of Phonics and Diction Lessons

Efforts were made in the outgoing session to improve on teaching and learning of phonics and diction in the school in order to improve on the learning outcome in this subject area. New Phonics and Diction learning applications were procured and deployed on a trial basis to enable all teachers to be involved in the teaching of the subject. This is in addition to weekly teaching of the subject by the specialist teacher hired for that purpose. The trial period of the new application is now over and the application will now be deployed fully in the new session.
