28. Pregnant women get up to 18 months maternity leave, and up to 12 months. You choose which you go for paid by the government (up to 60% of your annual earnings), and some organizations top up the rest of your earnings. Men get up to twelve weeks paternity leave too.

29. Animals are treated like beloved children. Animals have rights, hospitals and holidays. It’s culturally normal to go on leave if your pet is ill, drspressed or is pregnant. There are vertinary doctors who diagnose animals.

30. Canada is a less unequal society. Female rights are recognized. Everyone is treated as an equal. A woman is the primary care provider for her child, and all earning/benefits go to her. A man may be the primary care provider if there’s sufficient evidence that the mother is incapable or mentally unstable.

31. Tilt Cove is the smallest city in Canada in Newfoundland and Labrador. It’s consist of only four people - Husband, wife, brother in law and sister in law.
Wife is the town clerk. Hubby, Don is the mayor. They live next door to her brother and wife, who’re the town councillors.
