28 schools advanced to the second stage.

Hundreds of students submitted essays filled with well-structured arguments, critical thinking, and bold ideas about the future of education.

These aren't hypothetical entries or AI-generated responses. They came from real students in real schools across Ogun State, each bringing a unique perspective to the conversation.

The future of education is already being shaped by young voices—and we're privileged to witness it.

Stage 1 of the GiftedBrain Inter- School Debate Competition just concluded.🎊

We closed with 42 registrations from schools across more than 12 local governments in Ogun State, with Abeokuta recording the highest registrations, followed by Obafemi Owode.

This reflects the growing belief among schools and teachers that healthy competition plays an important role in developing the whole child — building confidence, sharpening intellect, and preparing students for life beyond the classroom.

We now move to Stage Two, where participating schools will submit their virtual debates online.
