All stakeholder should prepare
Covid 19 Prevention Protocol to be put in place in our School.
1. Teachers are to resume July 6th
2. Primary 6, JSS 3, SSS 3 students are to resume July 13th
3. Schools open from 8 am - 12 noon; Mondays to Fridays
4. Hand washing sports to guarantee regular washing of hands by students, teachers or anyone entering the school.
5. Sitting arrangement in classes must be mapped 2 metres away from each other to prevent body contact.
6. It is compulsory for all students and teachers to use face masks. Parents are also to use face masks anytime they are coming to drop or pick their children from school.
7. Assembly, social gatherings and sport activities are suspended for now.
8. Infrared thermometer to test body temperature at the entrance of the school. Anybody with high body temperature should not be allowed into the school.
9. No use of air conditioners in classrooms but well ventilated classes.
10. Food vendors are not allowed in schools. Pupils/students are to bring their food, snacks etc. from home.
11. No going out of the classrooms except when going to the rest room (toilet) which must be under close monitoring by care giver or teacher.
12. No hand shakes, hugging, physical contact or collecting of things like books, pen, spoon, cup, food, water etc. from one another.
13. Birthday Celebrations/gifts in school is suspended.
14. If any child/teacher shows any syptoms of Covid 19/malaria; such should not be allowed to come to school, he or she must stay home to be treated or call Covid 19 NCDC agents.
15. Students/pupils and teachers must have a pocket (handy) sanitizer for their personal use anywhere they go apart from the general one provided by the school.
16. Decontamination of classes, object surfaces and school environment frequently is compulsory.
17. Only one entrance to the school premises will be accessible to everyone for proper monitoring.
18. EOC (Emergency Operations Centers) will be going round schools to determine compliance with the Covid 19 Prevention protocols put in place by schools.
These precautionary measures should not only be observed in the school, it should be observed at home and public places to keep our children and us safe from Covid 19:
-Wash your hands with soap and water frequently.
-Use hand sanitizer
-Use face mask
-Keep social distancing
-Report any case of corona virus symptoms.

• Time-table will be out next week.
•Results to be released 45 days after the last paper must have been taken.
•All five member countries (Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia and The Gambia) are to take the examination concurrently.
•Candidates are expected to arrive the examination centre at least one (1) hour to the scheduled time the paper is to be taken.
•Compulsory use of Face-mask by all candidate.

Dear parents/caregivers,
In regards to the directives given to exam classes (pry 5,jss3 and ss3), we are hereby giving the following guidelines
1 All pupils and students are expected to come with their facemask which without will not be allowed to enter the school premise
2 there will be temperature check at the gate and anyone with temperature above 37degree won't be allowed
3 each child is expected to have it's pocket sanitizer aside the ones provided by the school
4 All pupils and students are expected to have their own personal past questions (revision questions for pry 5,Awka for jss3 and pass questions for required subject for ss3) this is to ensure social distancing and avoid close contacts
The school on it's own will ensure that
Teachers arevall using face mask
There is proper disinfectant of the school premise
There is adequate temperature check.
There is provision of sanitizer,running tap and student seated to observe social distancing.
Covid 19 is real.we all have to employ strict measures to avoid it.

REOPENING OF SCHOOLS: PTF ON COVID19 CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWINGS THREE OPTIONS
1. To cancel the two months old third term and instruct schools to use first and second terms results to promote students to the various next classes respectively.
2. Third term may commence in September and end in early December, 2020, whereas first term for the 2021 (not 2021/2022) academic session, will commence in January, 2021 and the session to terminate in December, 2021.
However, final year pupils/students who are to sit for various examinations maybe called upon to come and write their exams shortly from now.

This is to inform intending candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2020 – Second Series are hereby informed that the registration commenced June 10th, 2020.
*REGISTRATION FOR THE EXAM*
Registration for the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2020 — Second Series—will be online. After obtaining the Registration PIN, candidates should log on to www.waecnigeria.org for registration. Candidates should also note that the registration procedure has been designed to accommodate biometric features that will be used for validation at the examination centres.

LASG Postpones 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination
The Lagos State Government, through the State Examinations Board, has announced postponement of the year 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), earlier scheduled to commence from Tuesday, 16th - 23rd June, 2020, till further notice.
The announcement, which was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, noted that the postponement was due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent closure of schools by the Lagos State Government.
He informed the general public, especially all duly registered Public and Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools, that immediately the State Government issues directives on the re-opening of schools, new dates approved for the examinations will be communicated to all stakeholders.
While maintaining that the Lagos State Examinations Board had no options than to postpone the examinations due to COVID-19, Gbadegesin stated that registration is still ongoing via the Board’s online platforms for those who were unable to register earlier.
