Sewing Machine Cake Recipe
Ingredients
For the Vanilla Cake Layers
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup whole milk
For the Buttercream Frosting
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Decoration
White or pastel fondant
Fondant sewing machine topper
Fondant thread spools in different colors
Fondant buttons and measuring tape
Edible pearls or glitter (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cake Batter
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease the cake pans.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Mix in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk until the batter becomes smooth.
2. Bake the Cake
Divide the batter evenly between the cake pans.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the cakes to cool completely before decorating.
3. Prepare the Buttercream
Beat the butter until creamy.
Gradually add the powdered sugar while mixing.
Add vanilla and milk, then beat until smooth and fluffy.
4. Assemble the Cake
Level the cake layers if needed.
Spread buttercream between each layer.
Apply a thin crumb coat and chill the cake for 20 minutes.
Cover the cake with smooth fondant or buttercream.
5. Decorate the Sewing Theme
Place a fondant sewing machine on the top tier.
Add thread spools and buttons around the tiers.
Create a measuring tape ribbon wrapping around the cake.
Finish with small pearls or edible glitter for an elegant touch.

🩺🤍 Doctor Coat Cake – Recipe
Ingredients
For the Cake Layers 🍰
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ cups sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup milk
6 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
For the Buttercream 🤍
2 cups unsalted butter
6 cups powdered sugar
3–4 tbsp heavy cream
2 tsp vanilla extract
For Decoration 🩺
White fondant (for the lab coat)
Pink or pastel fondant (for feminine details: stethoscope, pockets, buttons)
Edible silver accents
Black fondant (for stethoscope ear tips)
Fondant shaping tools

Instructions

Name tag
Pen in the pocket
Silver highlights for realism
