Today, let's look at some fun facts about The Lion.

The lion is referred to the king of the jungle. Lion is a social animal which is the reason they move in a group called PRIDE.

The baby lion is called a CUB or a WHELP.

Lion is a CARNIVORES which means they eat only meat.

The female lion which is called a LIONESS eats approximately 5kg of meat daily and the male eats approximately 7kg of meat daily.

The lifespan of a lion spans between 10-14 years.

Lions are hunters. Unlike other animals in the jungle, the LIONESS hunt for animals while the LION stays back to look after the CUB.

Yes, they are hunters and they are also the laziest of all big cats family because they can rest and sleep for almost 21hours in a day.
