What do you think is the greatest thing you can gift to your children? Their favourite snacks? That toy they've always asked for? Those will undoubtedly make them happy.

But the snacks will finish. And the toys-with time- will lose their appeal.

So again I ask, what is that great long-lasting thing you can gift your children?

We exist in a world where ignorance is the trend. Where the world has more than her fair share of immorality, confusion, oppression, and unjust leaders- to mention but a few vices.

Thus, the answer to our curio is KNOWLEDGE.

Not just any knowledge, but one that benefits and reforms; knowledge of the Deen.

They might wonder, how does learning the deen balance out all other aspects of living?

Seems like it's time to talk about Islam.

Islam is an all-encompassing religion. A perfect guide to living a healthy, respectable life while fulfilling our major task on Earth - worshipping Allah.

Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Muslim)

One of the greatest investment to venture in in this dunyah (world) and the akhirah (hereafter) is learning the words of Allah from the Qur'an.
