In 1 Peter 3:15, every follower of Christ is instructed to be prepared to answer everyone who asks us to give the reason for our hope (to defend the Christian faith). When we do that, we are doing what is referred to as ‘apologetics.’

Are you passionate about defending the Christian faith? Do you desire to engage African cultural and intellectual issues from a biblical perspective? We invite you to join the AfriCore Apologetics Team!

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:
AfriCore Apologetics exists to equip African Christians with biblical, reasonable, and culturally relevant apologetics, empowering them to defend their faith and transform their communities.

𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀:
1. Develop comprehensive apologetics resources for African Christians
2. Train and mentor African apologetics leaders
3. Foster collaborative relationships with African churches and organizations
4. Engage with African cultures and societies through social media and events
5. Promote critical thinking and intellectual honesty

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀:
1. 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Contribute articles, blogs, and books on African-centered apologetics.
2. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀: Engage in debates, lectures, and workshops.
3. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀: Investigate African cultural and intellectual issues.
4. 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: Share content and manage online presence.

"Gordon Fee once told his students on the first day of a New Testament class at Wheaton College that they would—someday—come across a headline saying “Gordon Fee Is Dead.” “Do not believe it!” he said, standing atop a desk. “He is singing with his Lord and his king.” Then, instead of handing out the syllabus like a normal professor, he led the class in Charles Wesley’s hymn, “O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing.”
