SAFE LAGOS FOR STUDENTS: NANS JCC LAGOS EMBARKED ON A COURTESY AND CONGRATULATORY VISIT TO THE NEWLY APPOINTED COMMISSIONER OF POLICE LAGOS COMMAND

The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council lagos axis recently paid a congratulatory courtesy visit to the newly appointed Commissioner of Police for the Lagos Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, psc+, mnips.

The visit was an opportunity for the NANS lagos leaders to familiarize themselves with the new Commissioner of Police and to congratulate him on his recent appointment. The student leaders expressed their willingness to collaborate and work closely with the police command under his leadership to ensure the safety and security of students in Lagos.

During the visit, the NANS JCC Lagos leadership reiterated their commitment to maintaining a peaceful and conducive environment for learning in Lagos. They emphasized the importance of a harmonious relationship between students and law enforcement agencies and pledged to support the police in their efforts to maintain law and order on campuses and within the larger society.

CP Olanrewaju Ishola, in response, expressed his gratitude for the visit and assured the student leaders of his readiness to work with them in promoting safety and security within the student community. He encouraged the students to be law-abiding citizens and to report any security concerns to the police for prompt intervention.

The NANS JCC Lagos leaders also used the opportunity to solicit the support of the Commissioner of Police in addressing security challenges facing students in the state especially on the institutions campus area.

The visit concluded as the chairman NANS lagos Comrade Alimi Lekan Idris expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf all Students in lagos state he reiterated the commitment to fostering a collaborative partnership for the safety and well-being of students in Lagos.

NANS JCC Lagos leadership expressed their confidence in the capacity of the new Commissioner of Police to lead the command effectively and pledged their support to work hand in hand with the police in achieving their shared goal of a safe and secure environment for learning.

The Leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council Lagos axis congratulates CP Fayoade M. Adegoke on his recent appointment as the AIG Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan Lagos, now AIG Fayoade M. Adegoke. We join in celebrating this well-deserved promotion and new rank.

AIG Fayoade M. Adegoke has shown unwavering support for NANS Lagos and always been there for us whenever we've reached out to the police. His commitment to ensuring the safety and security of students and the entire community has been commendable.

We also appreciate AIG Fayoade M. Adegoke for his support during our intercampus/security summit held at LASUSTECH. His presence and words of encouragement were truly motivating and inspiring for all participants and students.

Earlier today, as the Chairman of NANS JCC Lagos, I had a productive meeting with the Deputy Chief of Staff, Lagos State Government, Mr. Sam Egube, alongside my team members.
