Before the classroom taught us, mother did ❤️
She taught us how to speak, how to pray, how to stand respectfully, how to read, and how to write.
With no salary, no weekends off, and no resignation letter, yet she shows up every single day with love, strength, patience, and sacrifice.
Today, we celebrate all mothers in every home, every mother figure in every child’s life, and the great strength behind every generation.
Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Grace Chrysolite School 🌸

Telling and knowing our history in this part of the world has, for too long, been overlooked.
Today, many of our children have embraced new tongues—just as the famous poet once described—while gradually losing touch with their roots. In the process, identity fades, and the stories of our predecessors—their struggles, sacrifices, and victories—become unknown. And when history is forgotten, it often repeats itself.
Yesterday, we at Grace Chrysolite Schools took our learners on an educational visit to the Badagry Museum, where they learned about the transatlantic slave trade and its eventual abolition.
It was a deeply moving and eye-opening experience—one that stirred emotions and ignited reflection.
Relive these powerful moments through the lens of our camera.
