NATIONAL HAIR LOSS AWARENESS MONTH

Hair loss sucks. A lot of us suffer from it, but most of us don’t talk about it because of the associated stigma. So it’s fair to say that many topics and facts related to hair loss aren’t widely known. This is why we’re so excited to be recognizing National Hair Loss Awareness Month with you. Talking about topics related to hair loss is important to us. We want to help you or your friends or family feel empowered with information.
At this seminar, we’re going to be sharing unique tips and information from dermatologists and medical professionals that can help you combat your hair loss (yes, it IS possible!).
This seminar is designed for everyone including Medical Doctors, Licensed Cosmetologists (Hairstylists), or Barbers, that are servicing clients with hair loss and scaly scalps.
Attendees will leave this seminar to be able to have increased knowledge in recognizing hair loss and its' patterns and characteristics.

August is observed as Psoriasis Awareness Month! The campaign aims to generate widespread awareness about psoriasis and encourage research for people living with this chronic skin condition.

Psoriasis is an immune-mediated disease that causes raised, red, scaly patches to appear on the skin.

Psoriasis typically affects the outside of the elbows, knees or scalp, though it can appear on any location. Some people report that psoriasis is itchy, burns and stings. Psoriasis is associated with other serious health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease and depression.

You can’t catch scalp psoriasis from another person.

About half of the estimated 7.5 million Americans with psoriasis - which can affect any skin surface - have it on their scalp. Sometimes the scalp is the only place they have it, but that’s uncommon.

Scalp psoriasis can be mild and almost unnoticeable. But it can also be severe, last a long time, and cause thick, crusted sores. Intense itching can affect your sleep and everyday life, and scratching a lot can lead to skin infections and hair loss.

Symptoms

Symptoms of mild scalp psoriasis may include only slight, fine scaling. Symptoms of moderate to severe scalp psoriasis include:

•Scaly, red, bumpy patches
•Silvery-white scales
•Dandruff-like flaking
•Dry scalp
•Itching
•Burning or soreness
•Hair loss

it is important to understand what you can do about it as and when you are affected by it. Learning to successfully manage treatment can take a long period of time but there are many ways in which the disease can be controlled and treated.

Whether you chose to do this via medication, holistic, complementary and alternative approaches, dietary control or lifestyle choices is down to each individual but there is a huge amount of support and information available enabling you to find the best solution here in MRT center.

Posted • Leaving the corporate world 5 years ago to be a hairstylist left people in utter dismay. How can this fine banker leave to be a hair drezzer (jenifa's words🤣). Yes I learned hair styling, I styled hair for free, and I started my "shop". But 4 years after my hair styling training i decided to take it a step further to become a and have a Hair Clinic. I make conscious effort to bloom where I am planted. The process is still ongoing. My motivation to YOU today is not to be STAGNANT where you are but BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED🍀🌻🌺🌹⚘
Have a fruitful week y'all 🥰

* Production of Apocrine sweat
*Protection against external factors like UV light *Thermoregulation ETC
Hair Consist of two distinct part which is the FOLLICLE and the HAIR SHAFT.

Follicle is the Essential Unit for the generation of hair. This means that without a Follicle You cannot have the Hair Shaft.

For this Follicles to be developed there has to be an interaction between some Cells this interactions tends to form a matured Follicles which then starts a Continuous Growth and Rest Sequence which is called HAIR CYCLE.

So in the above explanation one thing we should note is we need to keep our Follicle Healthy in order to have a good Healthy Hair Growth.

HOW DO YOU DO THIS?

I shall be dropping a video soon explaining in details THE SCIENCE OF HAIR.
