When Shaquille O'neal was drafted into the NBA, he spent the first million that he earned within 30 minutes. O'neal then received a phone call from his banker, who scolded him, and told him that he would end up joining the list of former athletes who ended up broke if the current trend continued.

O'neal decided to sharpen up his education on business and finance. He returned to college, completing his Bachelor's degree, followed by his M.B.A, and lastly, his Ed.D. That's right, he is now Dr. Shaquille O'neal.

As of today, Shaq is the joint owner of 155 Five Guys Burgers restaurants, 17 Auntie Annie's Pretzels restaurants, 150 car washes, 40 24-hour fitness centers, a shopping center, a movie theater, and several Las Vegas nightclubs.

In addition to his business holdings, O'neal still earns $22 million per year (roughly $423,000 per week) from his endorsement deals with Arizona Creme soda, Icy Hot, Gold Bond, Buick, Zales, and at least a half dozen additional corporate sponsors. He is also a studio analyst for TNT.

Not everyone or anyone can be a Teacher. There are hundreds of thousands of people in the profession who have absolutely no BUSINESS teaching.
And for this reason , we have people here defending the indefensible.

1. If a teacher has no clue what to do he/she uses the cane
2. If a teacher is psychologically ill equipped to deal with teens or adolescents and their perculiar issues, they use the cane.
3. If a teacher is emotionally inadequate or they use the cane
4. If the teacher has a poor /bad attitude or bad upbringing but they're now adults and in the teaching profession, they use the cane.
5. Most of these people relying on the cane for control simply do not know how to manage a teen or an adolescent hence rely on bullying, intimidation and cruelty of flogging for control
6. Many teachers can't earn the respect of young PEOPLE and have not in them the capacity (intellectually or otherwise) to earn it hence, need the cane
7. When a teacher is having a bad day, personal problems or generally transferring aggression, they use the cane.

They NEED the cane because they believe they're big and the child is SMALL and the authority favours them and THINK that there's nothing THE CHILD can do about it.

Of course it absolutely unacceptable for ANY PARENT to go to school with the sole purpose of having a confrontation with their Ward's teacher...that is WRONG INDEED!!!?

But a teacher who WEAPONIZES the cane (or CORPORAL PUNISHMENT) and wields it with vigour intending to cause bodily harm to the children under their tutelage, believing that they somehow have the GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS to do so.......tsk tsk tsk....
