Preparation for WAEC 2026 and Introduction of Digital Technology
In preparation for the 2026 WAEC Examinations and the planned introduction of Digital Technology across all classes, the school has commenced Computer-Based Test (CBT) practical sessions for all students. This initiative is aimed at assessing and enhancing their level of preparedness for the forthcoming digital examination processes.
During the recent WAEC briefing, teachers, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders were duly advised to encourage students to familiarize themselves with the use of Android devices. Early exposure and consistent practice will greatly ease students’ transition to the CBT mode of examination.
In line with this directive, OMC has already engaged all students in practical CBT training sessions. All hands are on deck to ensure that every student acquires the necessary practical knowledge and operational skills required for effective participation in the CBT platform.
Management hereby solicits the maximum cooperation of parents, guardians, and teachers to ensure that this objective is fully achieved.
Thank you for your continuous support and commitment to excellence.

Inaugural and Oath-Taking Speech
Distinguished staff, students, and our newly elected prefects,
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in the leadership journey of our school. We are gathered to inaugurate and administer the oath of office to our newly elected prefects — young leaders chosen through a free, fair, and transparent election process.
Dear prefects, this is not just a title; it is a call to service. You have been entrusted with responsibility — to lead, to guide, and to uphold the values that make our school great. Leadership demands humility, discipline, honesty, and commitment. It means putting the interest of others above your own and setting an example in character, learning, and service.
As you take your oaths today, remember that you are the mirror through which others will see this school. Let integrity guide your actions, and let teamwork be your strength. Respect your teachers, cooperate with your fellow students, and work together to promote peace, discipline, and excellence.
To our students, I urge you to support your prefects. Leadership succeeds when there is unity and understanding.
On behalf of the management and staff, I congratulate you all once again. May your tenure be fruitful, impactful, and filled with success stories.
Thank you.
— Mr. Olaokun Gbenga Simeon
Principal OMC

Respected Proprietor, Mr. Femi Ogunsanwo,
Distinguished School Administrator, Committed Principal, Hardworking Headmistress of Model Preparatory School, Esteemed Teachers, Dedicated Members of the Management Team, Fellow Parents, and Our Beloved Students,
On behalf of the Parents Teachers Forum (PTF), it is both an honour and a heartfelt privilege to extend our warmest greetings and deepest appreciation to all educators on this momentous occasion of World Teachers’ Day.
Today is far more than just a date on the calendar, it is a celebration of dedication, sacrifice, and purpose. It is a day to pause and reflect on the invaluable role teachers play in shaping not just minds, but the very fabric of society.
As the PTF Chairman, and more importantly as a parent, I can confidently say that the impact of our teachers at Ogunsanwo Memorial College (OMC) and Model Preparatory School (MPS) is both profound and far-reaching. You do more than teach; you nurture, guide, inspire, and uplift. You turn potential into progress and dreams into direction.
At both institutions, teaching is not just a duty, it is a calling. A calling marked by love, patience, and commitment to excellence. You shape character while imparting knowledge. You stand at the front of the classroom, yet work behind the scenes tirelessly and often unnoticed; ensuring every child is seen, heard, and supported.
To our incredible teachers: Thank you for waking up each day with passion, even when the journey is tough.
Thank you for correcting with compassion and praising with purpose.
Thank you for treating every child not just as a student, but as a future leader.
You are the heart of these schools, and we salute your selfless service.
To the management teams of OMC and MPS, we acknowledge your constant support of the teaching staff and your tireless efforts in providing a conducive environment for learning and growth.
To our visionary Proprietor, Mr. Femi Ogunsanwo, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast leadership, your investment in quality education, and your commitment to raising a generation of well-rounded individuals. Your vision has built not just schools, but a legacy that continues to inspire excellence.
As we celebrate today, the PTF also renews its partnership and support. We are committed to working hand in hand with the schools to ensure that our children continue to receive the very best academically, morally, and socially.
Let this World Teachers’ Day be a reminder that your work matters. Your voice matters. Your sacrifice matters. And most importantly, you are deeply appreciated, not just today, but every single day.
On behalf of all parents, I say once again: Thank you.
We are proud of you. We believe in you. And we stand with you.
Happy World Teachers’ Day!
May God bless all our teachers, our children, and the continued success of Ogunsanwo Memorial College and Model Preparatory School.
