As usual, May 1st represents an important moment in the history of Ire Pearl Centre of Hope. It is a day set out for Autism Awareness in our local community. This year our focus is empowering and teaching of teachers in a school that has shown invaluable support in accommodating our students. EXERCISES & GAMES Exercises and games involve engaging in physical activity and increasing the heart rate beyond resting levels. It is an important part of preserving physical and mental health. Many individuals with autism have lower fitness skills compared to other people. These skills include balance, body coordination, visual-motor control and other mobility skills.
