Pronunciation is an assessment criteria and accent is not. Therefore, your accent doesn’t matter. Concentrate on improving your pronunciation by listening to English mother tongue speakers in daily life, radio talks or television.
Pronunciation accounts for 25% of the IELTS speaking test final mark.
Pronounce words well, use stress and intonation, use linking words and speak clearly.
Trying to twist your accent to resemble American, British or Australian accents is a complete waste of time as you might sound weird and unnatural.

Since the test is time bound, it is important that you complete the IELTS Essay Writing task on time i.e. within 40 minutes for task 2 and 20 minutes for task 1.
So, you must develop proper time management skills as you prepare for the IELTS Exam.
