Let me say it again. Your child is not dull.
Just because a child struggles in class
does NOT mean they are slow, lazy, or unserious.
Some children learn by seeing.
Some by doing.
Some by asking a thousand questions.
Some need more time.
School often rewards one type of learning.
But children come with many types of intelligence.
When we label children too early, they start believing the label and confidence drops before learning even begins.
Instead of asking:
“Why can’t you be like others?”
Try asking:
“How does my child learn best?”
Because once a child feels understood,
learning becomes easier.
Has anyone ever labeled your child unfairly?
What did they say?
