According to the announcement released by the official handle of the board on X (Formerly Twitter), The new cost is as follows; Registration Fee for the 2024 UTME: N7,700 (WITH MOCK); N6,200 (WITHOUT MOCK). The cost for application documents for foreign candidates has also been pegged at; $30. We expect the board to release details of the breakdown of the costs while releasing the registration details on or before 15th January 2024.

JAMB ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT DATE FOR SALES OF 2024 UTME FORM AND MOCK EXAMINATION

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, (JAMB), has said the registration for its 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), begins on January 15, 2024 and ends on February 16, 2024.

Similarly, the board, in a statement on Wednesday, said it fixed march 7, 2024 for its MOCK-UTME, while the main UTME will be held from April 19 to 29, 2024.

in the statement released by its spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, the board explained that the dates were fixed “based on the series of recommendations emanating from a two-day information technology (it) and management retreat held between 26th and 28th, November 2023.”

JAMB 2024 REGISTRATION

As Jamb is about to open UTME/DE registration 2024 and as we are all aware , NIN is mandatory for each and every prospective candidate for generating a profile code.

I would. like to advise all parents and guidance especially those children that has gotten their NIN when they are below the ages of 16 (Minos) and now they are in SS3 and have attained the age of16 years and above, that they should take their children to any of the Nimc offices nearest to them and do data migration from Minor to Adult, while doing that they should also do SIM registration with any of the available GSM mobile line and present it during NIN Migration.

During initial NIN registration, the child's NIN was tied to his parent or guidance NIN and now that he or she has attained the age of 16 and qualifies for migration to adult registration the new phone number that was registered for him will be modified to replace the one for the parent that he/she was registered with during Minos registration.
With these processes the child will not have problem in getting Jamb profile code during registration.
