You have been trying for years to break a habit, yet today you're still in the same place, or worse. You have made New Year's resolutions to give up your bad habits or have a better marriage or work on getting fit or improving your finances. Yet, you're still in the same position. Why? Because you're using the wrong method! You cannot change yourself. The only way for a hamster to find freedom is if his owner reaches down inside the cage and lifts him out. He needs somebody bigger than himself, with greater power.

The power at work within you is greater than the circumstances that surround you and the foes that oppose you. So don't give up

Happy Retirement to , the first Vice President of Living Faith Church Worldwide. Serving Bishop for over 40 years with no intention of taking his position is worth studying in followership and leadership. How can a man be this loyal? Rumor has it that Bishop David Oyedepo has offered to hand it over to twice, but he rejected it.
Many full-time pastors remain in Winners Chapel because of . I recount worshiping in a branch once when the resident pastor boosted how he received calls from to check on him and how he was doing. As Vice President, he was the king of damage control, calming hurt nerves and keeping the ship steady. The way people respect today is essentially a template laid down. He can complete Papa’s sentence. Both can pass instructions to each other without using words, just body language 😊.
In the body of Christ, Bishop David Abioye is a template to follow. A pastor once told me he is why I remained loyal to the founder of my ministry. We all have learned as a body of Christ how to be loyal and faithful in another man’s business through the life of Bishop Abioye.
I am grateful to . I learned discipline from him at age 22, and it has never left me. As I got close to him one-on-one, I learned how to be firm and humble simultaneously. Bishop Abioye is firm, simple, and loving. It’s one of his superpowers.
Left to me, I will book all expense paid vacation for him and mummy for two weeks to relax as this is the season to eat the fruits of your labor.
Happy Retirement and congratulations to Bishop Oyedepo for working with Bishop Aremu and Bishop above to the point of succession. I wish the new Leadership wisdom that would take the ministry to greater heights than our fathers did. Bishop Oyedepo and Bishop Abioye are adding another layer for the body of Christ on how to pass on the torch to the next generation.
Love you, my Spiritual Mentor !
Your Son,
Dr Stephen Akintayo.

Getting into a marriage that ends in divorce is one of the most surefire ways to totally mess up your life and that of everyone you care about. Be patient, and act wisely, because choosing a spouse is an excellent predictor of your future happiness. Most important of all, pray. If you desire a spouse, God put that desire there. Trust Him to fulfill it.

*Topic: Put your heart into your part*
'Christ...makes all of its parts work perfectly.' Ephesians 4:16 CEV
You've probably heard that unless you're the 'lead dog', your part is secondary. The problem is, not everybody can be the leading man or woman. And it's better to be a working actor than an out-of-work star; at least you get to be in the play!
Most great achievers, if they're honest, will tell you they couldn't have done it alone; they needed the contributions of each member of the team. So if God has placed you in a supporting role today, accept it without complaining. Do your part to make the entire production stronger. Not only will you learn all about team spirit, and that's important for when you do get to lead, you will also learn the Christlike virtue of humility. The Bible says you will 'grow in every way and be more like Christ, the head of the body...[who] holds it together and makes all of its parts work perfectly' (Ephesians 4:15-16 CEV).
So, put your heart into your part. Stop and think about how you're living your life. Are you giving it everything you've got, or are you holding out, hoping somebody else will recognise your talent? It's not about the greatness of the part you've been given, it's about how much effort you put into doing it. If God has placed you in a supporting role rather than a starring one, it's because he recognises that the team needs your particular strengths and talents. Ask him to help you accept the role he has given you - whatever it is - and learn to fulfil it with gratitude and dignity. Contribute from wherever you are today.
