TANI ALFA RE, Dear Mr Sheikh?

They are asking Salafiyyah 1990 a simple question: Who taught you the Sunnah?

The Ejigbo group keeps avoiding this question. Why? Their Salafiyyah appears to be self-styled. They have declared many Yoruba Sunni professors and senior scholars to be people of bidʿah. Yet they cannot clearly identify the scholars who taught and trained them. So, the question remains: Who taught you the Sunnah?

The Amukokowiyyah group is no better. Their leader recently claimed that he became Ahl al-Sunnah by reading newspapers and pamphlets brought back by pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia. However, those familiar with that period give a different account.

According to them, he regularly travelled to attend the lectures of Shaykh Dhikrullahi Shafiʿi. After the lectures, he would sometimes approach the Shaykh privately and ask follow-up questions. He would also visit the Shaykh’s house on weekends. There, he read books from his library and sought further explanations.

Today, however, he has declared Shaykh Shafiʿi to be a person of bidʿah. He must therefore create a new account of how he became Ahl al-Sunnah. Otherwise, he would have to acknowledge that he learned from a scholar whom he now condemns.

Before the internet, Facebook, YouTube and online lectures, Islamic knowledge was mainly acquired directly from teachers. Students attended lessons, asked questions and received guidance from recognized scholars.

So, who were your teachers? Who trained and corrected you? How can people present themselves as scholars while denying the senior scholars who taught and nurtured them?

Is this not another extension of the OLODO UPRISING?

NO BE EVERYTHING MUST BE SALAFIZED. THE MALIKI TASHAHUD IS ALSO FROM THE RASOOL, SAW

The Mālikī Tashahhud

This is the wording preferred in the Mālikī madhhab, based on the Tashahhud taught by ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه. (Al-Muwaṭṭaʾ)

Some actions may not be punishable under secular law. They may also be difficult to prove in court. Yet they can still be morally and religiously wrong. For example, an Alfa may secretly worship Ifá while presenting himself as a Muslim scholar. If there is reliable evidence, remaining silent may allow serious religious deception to continue. However, Islam does not permit accusations based only on suspicion. The matter must be properly verified and handled responsibly. In a serious and unresolved dispute, mubāhalah may be considered after evidence and clarification. It is a solemn prayer asking Allah to curse whoever is lying. It is not a substitute for evidence.

Never speak ill of Gaza. Never join hands with the occupiers. Never forget the children of Gaza. Help them, or at least speak well of them and offer them your dua.
