The disobedient primes

Most prime numbers are either 1 more or 1 less than a multiple of 6. For example:

29 = 6 x 5 - 1

43 = 6 x 7 + 1

71 = 6 x 12 - 1

97 = 6 x 16 + 1

Only two primes don't obey this rule. Which ones?

Rejection is a natural part of life and is something that everyone will experience at some point. Whether it's being turned down for a job, a romantic relationship, or even a simple request, rejection can be tough to handle. However, it's important to remember that rejection is not a reflection of your worth or value as a person.

Instead of dwelling on the rejection, it's important to focus on how you can grow and learn from the experience. Rejection can be an opportunity for self-reflection and self-improvement. It can push you to work harder, improve your skills, and become a better version of yourself.

HOW TO DEAL WITH REJECTION

1. Accept and acknowledge your feelings: It's important to allow yourself to feel the emotions that come with rejection, whether it's disappointment, sadness, or frustration. Acknowledge these feelings and give yourself time to process them.

2. Remember it's not personal: Rejection is often not a reflection of your worth or value as a person. It can be helpful to remind yourself that the rejection is likely due to factors outside of your control, such as timing, compatibility, or circumstances.

3. Reframe the situation: Rather than seeing rejection as a failure, try to reframe it as a learning experience. Consider what you can take away from the situation and how you can use it to grow and improve in the future.

4. Seek support: It's okay to lean on friends, family, or a support network to help you process rejection. Talking about your feelings and getting perspective from others can be comforting and validating.

5. Practice self-care: Take care of yourself by engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. This can include hobbies, exercise, or self-care rituals that help you feel more grounded and positive.

6. Keep things in perspective: Remind yourself that rejection is a natural part of life and that everyone experiences it at some point. It doesn't define you, and it doesn't have to hold you back from pursuing other opportunities.

7. Stay resilient: Use rejection as motivation to persist and keep working towards your goals. Remember that setbacks are a normal part of the journey, and resilience is a valuable skill to develop.

8. Reflect and regroup: Take time to reflect on the situation and consider if there are any areas where you can improve or make adjustments for the future. Use this as an opportunity to regroup and refine your approach.

9. Keep a positive mindset: Focus on the things that are going well in your life and the aspects of yourself that you appreciate. Cultivating a positive mindset can help you bounce back from rejection and maintain a sense of optimism.

10. Keep trying: Don't let rejection deter you from pursuing your goals and dreams. Keep putting yourself out there and remain open to new opportunities, knowing that rejection is a normal part of the process.

WORDS ARE LIKE EGG, ONCE THROWN, O TILO!

Words, similar to eggs, carry an inherent fragility that we often underestimate. Once an egg is thrown, it shatters upon impact, creating a mess that can't be fully cleaned. Similarly, words, once uttered or written, create an irreversible impact that can't be retracted or undone.

Words are powerful tools that hold a significant place in our lives. They have the potential to impact, influence, and shape the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs of individuals. They can create and destroy, heal and hurt, uplift and depress. Like eggs, they carry the potential for life or destruction within their fragile shells.

When an egg is thrown, it breaks apart and spills its contents, creating a mess that is hard to clean up. The fragments of the shell are sharp, and the leftover residue is sticky and stubborn. No matter how much you wish to undo the act, the egg can never be put back together once it's broken.

Similarly, once words are spoken or written, they leave an indelible mark on the listener or reader. They can cause joy or inflict pain, motivate or demotivate, inspire or dishearten. Once they are out, there is no way to pull them back, erase their impact, or alter the emotions they have stirred. They can shatter someone's self-esteem, break relationships, or even incite violence. Like the scattered pieces of a broken egg, the effects of harmful words can be sharp and hard to clean up.

However, words, like eggs, also have the potential for growth and nourishment. They can foster understanding, love, and respect, nurturing relationships and personal growth. They can heal wounds, motivate individuals, and inspire change. They are the seeds that can nurture the garden of human relationships, if used wisely.

In conclusion, words, akin to eggs, are fragile instruments with irreversible consequences. They should be used cautiously, understanding their potential for both damage and growth. Just as we handle eggs with care to prevent them from breaking, we should handle our words with the same, if not more, delicacy and consideration. For once thrown, neither an egg nor a word can ever be fully recovered.

When you learn, After one hour, 50% of the things you have learnt is gone and after 24 hours, 75% of the things you have learnt is gone.

So you need to the law and principles behind reading to retain them into your memory so that it won't look like you are working too hard to read and learn but little result is seen. There's a technique and a principle to this which i will share in my next post.

I hope we all know that repetition is the mother of learning i.e once we go through something, it is expected of us to go over it again and again so that it will stick.

That's why I do tell my students that the more they do it, the more they know it

And whenever I want to give my students an assignment, I start giving them from what I taught them in week 1 because I know that there is high tendency for them to forget what I have taught them during their examination.

My next post will talk about how to read and how to retain them Into your memory.

The saying "Poverty is the root of all evil" is often discussed and questioned. While being poor can lead to many problems, it's important to know that being very rich can also have negative consequences. Many cultures, religions, and philosophies believe that seeking excessive wealth without considering others can lead to bad behavior and inequality.

Some people argue that extreme differences in wealth can make social issues worse, like poverty, unrest, and corruption. Being rich can make people feel entitled and detached from the struggles of others, leading to a lack of care or understanding.

Additionally, some individuals may do unethical things to get more money, like exploiting resources, people, or breaking the law. This could involve things like fraud, avoiding taxes, or harming vulnerable groups.

However, it's important to remember that neither being poor nor being rich is automatically bad. Both can happen because of different reasons, and what matters is how people act and what values they have. It's not the condition itself that causes evil, but how people handle it.

In conclusion, while the saying "Poverty is the root of all evil" is well-known, it's crucial to understand that being very wealthy can also bring moral challenges. Pursuing wealth without considering others can lead to negative outcomes for individuals and society.
