This is more than endurance.

There is no discourse beyond our language.

The very first time I met these kids , I brought along pictures of a Yorùbá boy and girl greeting their parents extracted from Yorùbá di Wúrà Textbook. As they studied the images, one of them blurted out with a grin, “They’re doing exercise!”

I couldn’t help but smile 😊. I told them, “It may look like exercise to you, but this is actually how we greet in Yorùbá culture.” Their faces lit up even more; after all, they love anything that feels like exercise.

Now, I’m sure you’ll agree with us that truly with Yorùbá di Wúrà; the Yorùbá language is truly Golden.
