✅ No official version has been approved or released.

FUTO RELEASES POST-UTME/DE FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Candidates who

📍Applied to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for 2026 undergraduate admission;

📍Chose the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) as the university of First Choice; and

📍Sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or applied for Direct Entry (DE) admission;
are hereby invited to the Screening Exercise for 2026 undergraduate admission.

*The following conditions shall apply.*

📍Application commences on Friday May 22, 2026, and closes on Friday July 31, 2026.

📍ONLY candidates that are at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, are ELIGIBLE to apply.

📍ONLY candidates that scored a minimum of 150 in their UTME are ELIGIBLE to apply.

Segun Aina, a professor of computer engineering at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, has been appointed new registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) by President Bola Tinubu.

He would succeed Ishaq Oloyede, whose two-term elapses on July 31, 2026.
