Here we are 💪

" School is a scam " shouted by a friend to another friend. Is school really a scam? Some of our youths, especially, the so-called Gen - Z , have turned this scammed statement into a national anthem. In fact, many serious minded among them have been deceived or put into difficult future decisions making because of this wrong statement.
In all ramifications, school or education can never be a scam. Life itself is a process of learning. From childhood to adulthood, learning is an important part of our life. Even the formal learning of the four-walls of a classroom is important because it equips us with sound social developmental traits to manage and cope among our peers, shapes us into a better critical thinker, increases our chances of employability and creativity, etc.
Hence, attributing the word " scam " to schooling is not only wrong but should be regarded as a crime because of the negative effects such a word has impacted on our youths especially the male counterpart. Seriously, it is becoming alarming and I think the society must sit tight. 🙏
