Empowering Underserved Youth through Literacy, Skills Training and Climate Advocacy. 🌎

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, our Green Ambassadors took a bold step for the environment through a TREE PAINTING initiative 🌱🎨

What seemed like a simple activity turned into a meaningful learning experience. By painting the lower parts of trees, students helped protect them from pests and harsh environmental conditions, while also contributing to the overall health and longevity of the trees.

Beyond the environmental benefits, it was exciting to see how much the students enjoyed the process. There was laughter, teamwork, and a strong sense of pride as they worked together, knowing they were doing something impactful for their school and community.

Activities like this remind us that environmental action does not always have to be complex. Sometimes, simple hands-on efforts can make a real difference. Our environment thrives when we take responsibility, no matter how small the action may seem.

When young people are given the opportunity to engage directly with their environment, they do not just learn about sustainability, they begin to live it. 🌎

A huge thank you to Mr. Onikosi Owolabi for sponsoring this amazing initiative. Your support made this impactful activity possible, and we truly appreciate your commitment to raising environmentally conscious young people.

Last week, EduCycle donated 45 booksπŸ“˜ to pupils in a low-income primary school. Each book represents more than just pages. It represents opportunity, confidence, exposure, and hope.

We remain committed to strengthening literacy, expanding access to learning resources, and ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has the tools needed to succeed.

Every action is a step towards building a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive. πŸ’―

πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ Wednesday, 4th of February, marked a beautiful milestone as five of our Green Ambassadors launched the first phase of their PADS FOR EDUCATION project.

100 girls were trained to produce eco-friendly reusable sanitary pads, a powerful step toward healthier, more confident young women and a more sustainable future. πŸŒŽπŸ’―

This training will improve menstrual health and hygiene, boost confidence and dignity, reduce absenteeism and support better academic performance, equip girls with practical entrepreneurship skills, reduce environmental waste, and create lasting benefits for the wider community. The impact of this project goes far beyond one day. It is planting seeds of independence, leadership, and environmental responsibility in the next generation.

We give heartfelt appreciation to God for making the project a success, to the school heads for their huge support, to Ms. Taiwo Alabi and Mrs. Sowemimo Adetoun for their unwavering mentorship and guidance throughout the journey, to Ms. Anoliefo Joy for facilitating an impactful training, and to all the brilliant girls who participated with enthusiasm. Together, we are raising empowered girls and building stronger communities.

A special thank you to The Graciella Initiative for sponsoring and believing in this meaningful project.πŸ™ Your support made this impact possible.

Watch out for the second phase of this project!✨

Exciting news! πŸŽ‰

Our Green Ambassadors, Ada-Jesus and her team, are kicking off their PADS FOR EDUCATION project, proudly sponsored by The Graciella Initiative.

The project will provide schoolgirls with eco-friendly sanitary pads, train them on how to make reusable pads, and host menstrual health talks to improve awareness and promote healthy menstrual practices. By encouraging the use of reusable options, the initiative also aims to reduce waste generated from disposable sanitary pads.🌎

Through these efforts, the project seeks to empower girls to stay confident, healthy, and focused on their education while promoting environmentally responsible menstrual practices.

We look forward to the impact this project will make and invite you to cheer them on as they begin this important journey. ✨

Our Green Ambassadors are showing that waste can become something beautiful πŸŒβ™»οΈ

Using discarded papers and plastics, they transformed what would have been trash into creative and colourful objects. This is more than art, it’s learning sustainability through action, creativity, and responsibility.

At EduCycle, we believe young people learn best when they create, explore, and reimagine their environment. Today’s waste can be tomorrow’s resource.

Proud of our Green Ambassadors πŸ’š
