THE WORK OF SALVATION AND THE WORK IN SALVATION.
The Work of Salvation is the fulfillment of the scriptures, which Jesus has done.
Luke 24:26-27, 44-46
Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
The Work in Salvation is the witnessing/manifesting of what has been fulfilled, which the believer will do.
Luke 24:47-48, Mark 16:17-18, Matt 28:19-20
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
Amen.
The only Bible truth that can never be disputed is SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS.
Most Bible questions don't have a yes or no, good or bad, right or wrong answer. It is also not about what I think, what I feel, or what works for me.
The Bible is for explanation. The proper way of quoting a text is by understanding it properly first.
Errors in practice are a direct result of errors in understanding.
The more you read and understand, the slower you will speak and act.
Amen.

Understanding the Scriptures
Matthew 5:17
Don't think that I have come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not here to destroy, but to fulfil the law and the prophets.
John 5:39
You search the scriptures because in them you think you will obtain eternal life. But, the writings of the scriptures give credence to me.
John 6: 46-47
If you had ye believed Moses writings, you would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if you don't believe his writings, how will you then believe my words?
Luke 24:27
And beginning at Moses' writings and all from the prophets, he explained to them through all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24: 44-45
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled. Then, he thoroughly explained the scriptures to them so that they might understand it.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered to you the first thing that I also received, how Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And, that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
To understand the scriptures, you must read and interpret it the way Jesus did. You must see its purpose – beginning to end – as Him.

Acts 8:29-33, 35
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
We will be doing this on Saturday. Using scriptures to explain scriptures to the end that Jesus is revealed and God be glorified in the lives of all that hear!

Question:
What is the sin against the Holy Ghost?
Answer:
It is unbelief.
Examination:
Unbelief can't be forgiven because believing in Christ is accepting forgiveness. When one rejects God's hand of salvation, he is saying he doesn't need His forgiveness. It means he doesn't believe the work of God through His Son.
Look at Mark's explanation of the text which brings the question we are examining. Take note of the words in Caps:
Mark 3:28-30, "Verily I say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: BECAUSE THEY SAID, HE HATH AN UNCLEAN SPIRIT.
Mark says, the reason Jesus said this was because they said, "He hath an unclean spirit." Why did they say so? They didn't believe Him.
Hear Jesus say the same thing to them according to John 8:24, "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."
Do you notice how clear it is here?
Jesus had already said this to Nicodemus in John 3:18, "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HATH NOT BELIEVED IN THE NAME OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD."
The same thing once again..
Any man that doesn't believe in Jesus Christ has rejected the Holy Ghost, which is rejecting God and His forgiveness. Hence, he has sinned against the Holy Ghost.
What or who is this Holy Ghost..?
