My boy goes off to Secondary school. It has been quite a journey but God takes all the glory!
I am proud of the big boy Kitkat has become. Toblerone is next by God's grace.
Papa is doing a good job and Mama must be proud in heaven.

A diagnosis determines the course of treatment. A discovery determines the steps to be taken in achieving a desired goal or solving a problem.
A lot of parents are looking to send their children to different secondary schools for different reasons. Before you engage the teacher that will help your child pass into the desired school, it will be nice to figure out the areas of strengths and weaknesses from a neutral perspective. This will help all involved chart a course that will make studying less stressful for the child.
The Maven assessments will help give a clear picture of what the child is good at and areas of improvement. Once all these are clear, the child will be on the way to passing into the desired school with minimal stress.

What Nigerian language does your child speak and understand?
It is not cool that all your children speak and understand is English.
Let us try to preserve our cultural heritage. It is important that our children at least understand their mother tongue. That will go a long way.
You may not see the need today but the need will certainly arise someday and the people who are being intentional will benefit and reap rewards.

How are you all doing? How has the 2023 journey been so far? Are you being intentional about achieving set goals?
Second week of term and things have taken shape I guess. The children have left the euphoria of Christmas behind and are back to reality. Even the Christmas braids were taken out over the weekend.
It is time to get started with steps to achieving your goals this year as a parent, teacher, school owner and an individual who is determined to do more.....
It is sure going to be an awesome year. Just be strategic!

Week 2 of Wordbank 2022 and I receive this heartwarming message from a mum who is very involved, intentional and thorough. What else can I say?
Thank you Lord! I am motivated to do more.
Wordbank 2020 is in full swing!
We read at different levels today. This 5 year old Pacesetter was taught to make use of her punctuations when reading a text.
As soon as she got off the class she had mummy do a video of what Maven taught them in class.
The place of follow up cannot be over emphasised. Children gain mastery of taught concepts with follow ups.
We continue to encourage practice and more practice after hours.
There are two exciting activities tomorrow; public speaking and spelling drill. I look forward to an awesome day as we wrap up week one.
