What I learnt in Church today 👇

DAVID HAD EVERY REASON TO REVENGE… BUT HE DIDN’T.

King Saul hated David because people were praising him.

Saul tried to kill him many times.

But one day, David got the chance to kill Saul.

He refused.

Why? David understood that revenge was not his assignment.

🔥 3 lessons:

1️⃣ Not every battle needs your response.
2️⃣ Don’t let somebody’s wickedness change your heart.
3️⃣ When God says it’s your time, nobody can stop it.

David waited… and eventually became king.

Sometimes, God is not asking you to fight back. He is asking you to trust Him.

“Mummy, I said I don’t want to!”

My son looked straight into my eyes and said it with so much confidence that I almost forgot I was the parent. 😂

It happened one morning when we were already running late for Church.

I told him, “Wear your shoes, let’s go.”

He looked at the shoes.

Looked at me.

Then calmly said, “I want to wear the other one.”

I said, “No, wear this one.”

He said, “No.”

I said, “Why?”

He said, “Because I don’t like this one.”

At that point, I was already boiling. 😩😂

But instead of shouting, I knelt down and asked him, “So what do you want?”

He pointed to his other shoes and said, “Those ones. They are my school shoes.”

And honestly, I laughed.

This small boy had already made up his mind, and he was ready to defend it!

That was when I realised something:

Maybe my son is not simply being stubborn. Maybe he has a strong will that needs to be guided.

And I’m learning 3 important lessons:

1. Strong-willed children need boundaries, but they also need to feel heard.
Listening to them doesn’t mean letting them have their way every time.

2. Don’t confuse confidence with disrespect.
A child who knows what he wants can grow into an adult who has courage and conviction.

3. Teach the character behind the strong will.
I want my son to know when to stand his ground — and also when to listen, apologise and change his mind.

Parenting this boy is teaching me patience in ways I never expected. 😂

Sometimes I correct him.

Sometimes I laugh.

Sometimes I sit down after everything and ask myself, “God, what exactly are You preparing this boy for?”

Because the same strong will that makes parenting difficult today may become the courage, determination and confidence he needs tomorrow.

With a Grateful Heart…

As I reflect on yesterday, I’m filled with nothing but gratitude. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who took the time to celebrate my birthday with me. Every message, call, prayer, post, and thoughtful gesture was a beautiful reminder of the love and kindness that surround me.

I may not have the perfect words to respond to each person individually, but please know that every single wish was received with a grateful heart and deeply appreciated.

Birthdays are more than a celebration of another year; they are an opportunity to pause, reflect, and appreciate the people who make life more meaningful. Yesterday, you reminded me just how blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my corner.

Thank you for making my day truly memorable. May the love, joy, and kindness you shared with me return to you in beautiful and unexpected ways.

Hurray 💃💃💃💃 it's my birthday today

🎂 Happy Birthday to Me! 🎂

Today, I celebrate the beautiful gift of life and thank God for bringing me this far. 🙏🏽❤️ I’m grateful for every blessing, every lesson, every closed door, every answered prayer, and even the moments that made me stronger.

As I step into this new chapter, I pray for divine favor, good health, peace, wisdom, prosperity, joy, and abundant blessings. May God order my steps, guide my decisions, and surround me with genuine love and beautiful opportunities.

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 🎉

May everything concerning me align with God’s perfect plan. May I flourish like a tree planted by the rivers of water, and may my life continue to be a testimony of God’s goodness.

Here’s to another year of becoming wiser, stronger, happier, and closer to God. May this new age bring me uncommon favor, open doors, answered prayers, and blessings beyond my expectations.
