IT IS NOT OVER YET.
Congratulations to all those who took their JAMB examinations this time.
However, I want to remind all that it is not over yet.
Most schools do conduct post-UME exams, which they use to arrive at the final cut-off mark.
Education is a continuous exercise, so you need to keep reading and researching.
But for now, let’s say congrats on going through this exam.

Success to all those taking their JAMB exams this time.
Remember to observe the following for your success.
On the examination day, be composed; have confidence.
Be time-conscious in the hall.
Don’t allow any distractions.
Be careful in your shading; leave any difficult questions alone.
Rush to the end of the questions and come back for those that seem difficult at first.
Do not try to solve all the questions first before marking them in your answers script.
Mark any questions that you have solved before going to another one.
Always check your shading to avoid mismatching of numbers.
Do not choose an answer without reading all the options provided.
Always read the whole options, no matter how sure you are.
Note that there is no order in which the answers were arranged.
If your next five answers fall on one particular alphabet,
Do not be alarmed; just be sure that you know what you are doing.
Do all these things, and success will be yours.

SUBJECTS' ANALYSIS FOR JAMB EXAM
MATHEMATICS
Mathematics is not a compulsory subject in Jamb examinations, but it has a very wide appeal as it is needed by those in social sciences, pure sciences, management, engineering, agriculture, medical and allied sciences. Mathematics is also a part of the subject that makes up all the courses. So anyone aspiring to a degree programme will not avoid meeting it along the way.
In Jamb, mathematics is set to find out the very best brain around. If you are taught how to move from Ibadan to Lagos in mathematics, JAMB will like to test you on how to move from Kano to Enugu. One needs to be very good in the subject to measure up to JAMB’s standard. There is no room for half-baked knowledge.
Mathematics is a subject that is most misunderstood and misused by students, but the fact remains that it is very important and somehow compulsory for any student in higher institutions.
This is not a place to talk about the rudiments of mastering mathematics as a subject. This has been done in my book titled “How I Scored 88% in JAMB Mathematics”. Here, we are talking about those secret techniques that can enable any serious candidate to grab the killer information that is needed to score high marks.
CONTENTS
When you compare one year’s Jamb question paper in mathematics with another, you will not notice any significant difference. They are exactly alike, testing the same concepts. This means that if you can solve about 40 questions correctly in one question paper, you can do it in every other one, be it inside the exam hall or outside.

Subjects' Analysis For Jamb Exam
ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
The English Language is a compulsory subject in JAMB exams. Every candidate is expected to register for three other subjects. When it comes to the English Language, many candidates do not know what to read or how to prepare for it. They usually conclude that the English Language is not a readable subject. The English language is very readable.
The examination structure consists of comprehension, a summary and registers for section one. Then, we have lexis and structures, consisting of idiomatic expressions, opposite in meaning, nearest in meaning, tenses, spellings, collocations, usages and oral forms.
All these are contained in the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary. You can only answer questions on comprehension and summary if you understand the wording in the passages. You also need to understand the phrases, clauses, figures of speech, idioms, ideas and reasoning in the passage. You can get all these things in the dictionary. You need to read the dictionary to understand the English Language as tested by JAMB and other examinations. You do not need to be afraid of the volume. Just start on time, and you may not know when you go deeper into it.
