In Show Your Work! by Austin Kleon, the idea is simple: don’t just do the work — share the process and let people see what you’re building.

And the Bible also says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” — Matthew 5:14.

We just need to note that: Visibility is not arrogance. It is stewardship.

Tell the right people what you are working on.

Share your ideas. Show your results. Talk about what you’re learning. Let people know how they can support, collaborate, recommend, or connect you to opportunities.

Because sometimes, the opportunity you are praying for is sitting behind someone who simply doesn’t know what you do.

Don’t hide your light and then wonder why the room is dark.

Let your work be seen. Let your value be known. And watch what can grow when the right people finally see what you carry.

Prepare during the ordinary days so you stand out when the defining moments comes...

There are moments in life that look ordinary while you're living them, but later you realize they were turning points.

A new connection.
An unexpected opportunity.
A sudden burden to learn something.
A door you didn't plan for.
A season that seems to demand more from you than usual.

These moments can be easy to overlook because we're often waiting for something dramatic to announce that our lives are changing.

But perhaps the first sign is simply an invitation to pay attention.

Seasons: Life Is a Box of Chocolates

You never really know what you're going to get, but every season has something to teach you.

Life would be easier if we knew what was coming.

If we knew which opportunities would work out, which relationships would last, and which seasons would test everything we thought we knew about ourselves.

But we don't.

Sometimes life gives you sweetness. Sometimes it gives you lessons you never asked for.

And honestly, some seasons are hard.

There will be moments when you question why things aren't happening the way you imagined. Moments when all you can do is hold on and trust that the season will eventually change.

But perhaps that's the beauty of life.

There are four seasons for a reason.

Spring brings new beginnings. Summer brings growth. Autumn teaches us to release. Winter teaches us how to endure.

No season stays forever.

And sometimes, the hardest season becomes the one that transforms you the most. It introduces you to strength you didn't know you had, patience you never thought you'd need, and a version of yourself you couldn't have met any other way.

So if life feels difficult right now, don't assume you're failing.

Maybe you're simply in a season that is building you.

Stay.

Learn.

Grow.

And keep going.

Because variety is the spice of life—and sometimes, the season you desperately want to escape is the very season preparing you for everything you've been praying for.

The Psychology of Procrastination: Why We Delay What Matters Most

We've all done it.

Ignored the email. Delayed the project. Promised ourselves we'd start tomorrow—only for tomorrow to become next week.

For a long time, I thought procrastination was a discipline problem. I believed I just needed more motivation.

But procrastination is rarely about laziness. More often, it's emotional.

Sometimes we're afraid of failing. If we don't start, we don't have to face the possibility of falling short. Other times, we're afraid of succeeding because success brings change, responsibility, and higher expectations.

Then there's perfectionism. We convince ourselves we'll begin when we have more time, more clarity, or the perfect plan. But that perfect moment rarely comes.

The uncomfortable truth is that procrastination gives us temporary relief while quietly stealing our progress.

What has helped me isn't waiting to feel motivated. It's making the first step so small that I can't talk myself out of it.

Write one paragraph. Read one page. Spend five minutes on the task.

More often than not, action creates the motivation we were waiting for.

The next time you catch yourself putting something off, don't just ask, "Why am I procrastinating?"

Ask, "What am I afraid of?"

You may discover that what has been holding you back isn't a lack of discipline—but an emotion you've been trying to avoid.

And sometimes, the hardest part isn't finishing.

It's simply beginning.

Not given the chance to actually go out there and see that which ought to be seen.
