I am delighted to announce that teach4SDGs programme Cohort 4 is very educative and we progress in the workshop series, I have learnt a lot on Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs.

The workshop yesterday was hands-on, as we were taught how to Design Activities for Climate Action.
These activities would help enlighten our students about Climate Change, its effects and how to mitigate Climate change.
In designing these activities, as educators, we have to consider the age group of our learners and their most preferred learning methods in order to ensure effective communication of Climate Change for their understanding.

Join me again as I share my knowledge with you on the ongoing Teach4SDGs programme. The session on Friday 24th May was simply mindblowing. The resourse person did a green 💚 justice to the topic
"Green Economy and Sustainable Construction: Building Sustainable future"

Green Economy is an economic system that prioritizes reducing environmental risks and ecological degradation and scarcities in order to promote sustainable development.

According to (UNEP 2011) Green Economy is defined as low carbon, resource efficient and socially inclusive. It is an economy that focuses on improving human wellbeing and social equity while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities (UNEP 2011)

Since green economy has it's focus on improving human wellbeing and it cut across all sectors, green buildings for human habitation and workplace are essential to fulfil the goal of green economy in our society.

Green Building on the other hand focuses on energy, water, material efficiency as well as reducing negative environmental impact.

Green Buildings would be in high demand as climate change intensifies, since green building helps improve human health and well-being in terms of air quality and comfort.

Finally, Green Buildings are key to achieving Sustainable Development Goals; SDGs as they help mitigate and reduce the dependence on fossil fuel which results in adverse climate change.

Our opening ceremony was superlative.

The last class was mindblowing and informative.
Seminar topic:Circular Economy and Waste Management.

Circular Economy is focused on eliminating and minimising waste generated from the day to day activities of industries, individuals and families and in turn maximising resources.

Circular Economy principles are designed for
● longevity and durability
● Resourse Economy I.e using materials, energy and water all through the life cycle, ensuring their us no waste until they are exhausted.
●Circular Economy also runs on the principle of Circular business model. This is a service based idea where businesses can share space, energy, materials while they satisfy their different clients.
●Waste reduction. Using available resources efficiently
● Regenerate nature
Consumer Awareness.

Waste Management is similar to circular Economy. It is the somatic and responsible environmental way of handling and disposing waste through
● Reduction (prention)
● Recycling
● Reuse
● Recovery

In summary, it is all about turning waste to wealth and making our eco-system free of contamination

Enjoying divine health is an inside out business and your thought plays a key role in your robust well-being. Your thoughts informs your mind and your mind informs your body.
Meaning, if you feed your mind with healthy thoughts, your mind in turn feeds your body with health. To maintain a healthy you, you need healthy thoughts.

Proverbs 4:23TPT says

"So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life."

This implies paying attention to the welfare of your innermost being (your thoughts, mind, your desires and wills) should be your daily business because your total life depends on it.

However, we know that most people pick their thoughts from the happenings around them:.. environment, relationships, workplace and the likes. But the Word of God says we should not conform to the world and the happenings around us but we should be transformed by the renewing of our mind...Romans 12:2.

The purpose of keeping your mind renewed by the Word of God is to make you enjoy a wholesome life. The information your mind gets from the happenings around you is mostly dangerous to your health, so you have to make deliberate and conscious effort to feed your mind with the Word of God which gives hope, joy, peace, faith, health and all rich treasures you need to enjoy life.

It is not a hard exercise to do but it requires determination and discipline on your part. I must say that this has helped me over a decade as I daily meditate and declare God's Word to myself. Its result is priceless!

This is a deep love expressed by divinity to humanity, by immortal to mortal....how again can God show or express his love to you?

He wants us to call Him Father. He is like a woman who seek to have her own biological children who will call her mother.This desire in a waiting mother is always strong and deep that she could go any leangth to get one.

Similarly, this desire is so strong in God that He became a seed----putting Himself in Mary to be born as a Son from whom He can get many Sons.
God is all out looking for sons.

The entire purpose of creation is hinged on this one desire of God.
He expressed this desire through Abraham, showing the world how He desire to have the whole world call Him Father.

Are you among those who God is still waiting to have as sons?
Please don't delay any longer--open your heart to Him. Simply call Him Father, because, you hail from Him.

You were with Him before your mother conceived you--you are His son/daughter and He is your Father.
Accept His embrace and His unconditional love--submit to Him.
