Images and charts claiming that each tooth is directly connected to a specific organ—such as the heart, liver, kidney, or lungs—are widely shared on social media.

According to these charts, pain in a particular tooth is said to predict or reveal disease in a corresponding organ.

🔍 But how true is this claim?

🦷 Tooth–Organ Charts: Popular but Misunderstood

There is no scientific evidence in modern medicine or dentistry that supports the idea that:

A specific tooth can diagnose disease in a specific organ

Tooth pain can reliably predict future organ problems

Dentists do not diagnose heart, liver, kidney, or lung disease based on which tooth is painful.

From a conventional medical perspective, these charts are not valid diagnostic tools.
