OBC's Biblical Studies Experience on the Discovery Jesus Course

Q. How did you get to know about OBC?

Ans. My sister introduced me Sindisiwe Sandla

Q. What are the revelations you have received or discoveries you have made or new things you have learned or new knowledge you have acquired?

Ans. This is an eye opener to me as many things written in the Bible sometimes I took them light, knowledge of how to put together my life and knowledge of the Bible in my day to day activities for example prayer to me plays a big role to navigate this life. The discoveries include the meaning of words that I don't know how deep they mean. Moreover this sharps my deeper understanding of the Bible as a tool to use on a daily basis and as shield to cover myself.

Q. How have the revelations or discoveries or knowledge impacted your Christian life and ministry positively?

Ans. Of course ,the word of God is sharper than the double edge sword, devil tricks are scattered. It has taught me to become calm when storms come like a flood and pray harder. My reason for studying was that I needed more knowledge about this Jesus of Nazareth, how he was born and the impact that he's done in the world.

Q. What are your plans to impact others with the revelations or knowledge gained in your OBC's Biblical Studies?

Ans. Firstly people around me must see a change in me before I even open my mouth, I will also tell them that if interested they should come and join classes

Q. Which of the lesson(s) is/are your favorite and why?

Ans. The Angelic invitation, the Birth of Jesus and Herod plan. That scene was very specific to me, and has taught me God's plan cannot be prevented from the very beginning He was there. Lesson 2 was very interesting to me. And lesson 6 where Amen was emphasized and explained its original meanings. For me when I say amen I mean that word from my heart , now given an opportunity to here it's original meaning makes me more happier cause it's symbolic word to me.

Today, we stand at the foot of the Cross—not in defeat, but in divine understanding.

Good Friday is not a tragedy; it is the greatest transaction of redemption. The price for our sin, our pain, our brokenness, and our eternal separation was fully paid by Jesus Christ.

"It is finished." — not a cry of despair, but a declaration of victory.

At the Cross, mercy triumphed over judgment. At the Cross, love spoke louder than hatred. At the Cross, the Lamb of God carried the weight of humanity and opened the door to eternal life.

As a community of faith and learning at Online Bible College Africa, we are reminded that the Cross is both our message and our mandate. We are called not only to believe in its power, but to live it—through sacrifice, obedience, humility, and unwavering faith.

May this sacred day stir within us a deeper hunger for righteousness, a renewed passion for Christ, and a greater commitment to the work of the Kingdom.

The Cross was not the end… Resurrection is coming.
