A lot of people leave a 9–5 with one boss to start a business.

Then they work 18 hours a day and discover they now have ten bosses.

Customers. Suppliers. Employees. Banks. Landlords. Regulators. HMRC. Investors. Even the bloody accountant - all become bosses.

If everything still depends on you turning the handle, you haven't really escaped employment. You've just created a much more demanding job for yourself.

The goal isn't to do everything yourself.

It's to build the systems, people and processes that allow the machine to keep turning when you step away.

While most teenagers are focused on school exams and weekend plans, Laurent Simons was already diving into some of the universe’s biggest mysteries. 🧠⚛️

Nicknamed Belgium’s “Little Einstein,” Laurent accelerated through his education and reportedly earned a doctorate at the University of Antwerp, researching Bose-Einstein condensates and their fascinating links to black holes. 🌌

But his ambitions go far beyond academic achievements. 🚀 He dreams of bringing together physics, chemistry, medicine, and AI to explore ways of extending human life and pushing the boundaries of what science considers possible.
