Scientific fact and Islamic fact on the existence of Bush baby
Assalamualaikum warahmatu llah wa barakatuhu
We all have heard about the Word BUSH BABY,and we all ask our selves what are bush babies?
Bush baby are of two kind we have the animal bush baby and the mythical bush baby known as EGBERE.
Wait for the Yoruba bush baby
Firstly let start with the Animal bush baby,this animals real name are galago(scientific name)
This are small furry animal in Africa, That make an human baby sound, with this sound of them they were named "bush baby"( local name ),they use this sound to pass message in their kingdom.some species of this animals are more like monkeys and some are like cat as shown in the pictures below
This animals are found in area with tall trees like rainforest (Aboreal habitat)and Allah have created them with organs that enable them to adapt to their environment e.g they possesses a long tail to enable them to swing on trees and balancing,they possesses a big eye for seeing clearly in the dark that make them different from cat,they possesses a watery ear to hear clearly from a far distance and so one.The mode of their communications (Human baby sound when crying)make them more special
These animals are mostly found in African countries like Senegal, south Africa, and congo
Less I forget this animals weight up to 150 -200 grams(5-7 ounces)This animal were so scounty when they was discovered but now 20 new spicies have been discovered that is massive right,now this animals are now often seen at the top of the Aishi machame hotel and the great mountain killimanjaro.
Now let's talk about the Yoruba bush baby
(EGBERE)
From Yoruba belief ,These are mythical creature that are found in a remote area or a deep forest where great hunters are found.This creature is described with a tattered mat known as Eni Egbere and a dreary and scary appearance and a Scorpius tears,This creature are believed to roam about in the forest at night.so the funniest, massive and the most confusing thing about this creature is their mat ,the western region of Nigeria (Yoruba) believe that this mat is connected to Wealth,that whoever snatched the mat from the mythical creature Egbere and able to withstand it's threatening for 3-7 days will be so rich.I don't know of any of us have seen it before?
But all this story are narrated from hunters that saw it.we heard that a man saw it and share his experience the story is below (check the image section) Because of how they also sound like an human baby that what make us name them bush baby
so what is the islamic stand on the existence of this mythical creature(Egbere)
Allah says in suratul Rahman, Quran 55 verse 10
"والأرض وضعها للأنام"
"He has set up the earth for all creatures"
Definitely Alllah has created more creature that we human did not even know dey exist.
Allah also say In Quran 42 verse 29
ومن آياته خلق السموات والأرض ومن بث فيهما دابة
“And of his signs is the creation of heavens and earth and what he has dispersed through out of creatures.And he for gathering them when he wills,is competent
Allah has the capacity to create whetever he wants
Because of this I personally believe in their existence because Allah can create whatever he wants
