This weekend, another group of students visited Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate National Park! Not only were they able to see different animals, but they enjoyed a hike through the canyons of the national park. Fun fact: The Lion King movie gained some inspiration from Hell’s Gate!

AU Nairobi Scholars got to visit Karunguru Coffee farm today to learn about the cultural history and importance of coffee in Kenya. We got to learn about the coffee making process, got to roast a small batch of beans, and did a cupping tasting.
