Assalamualaikum
Dear Parents/Guardians.

We wish to inform you that tomorrow Wednesday is 1st October and has been declared as public holiday by the FGN in Commemoration of our Dear Nation's Independence Day.

The school shall be closed on that day.

As we celebrate our Dear Nation's Independence, we pray for peace, unity, and prosperity for Nigeria, Oyo State and Kishi Town.

We look forward to resuming normal academic activities on Thursday, 2nd October.

Thank you for your understanding and Cooperations.

OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER, IREPO LOCAL GOVT LEGISLATIVE HOUSE

Cordially invites the general public to the first IREPO Model Legislature Conference (A simulation of Legislative House) scheduled to be held on Thursday 10th October, 2024 (10:00am) at the legislative Chamber of Irepo Local Government.

During the Conference,
pupils of IIS (between the ages of 9 & 11 yo) will be demonstrating their mastery of arts of legislative processes ranging from moving motions, debating, voting and passing bills into laws using the order of proceedings blended with that of the National Assembly.

MEET THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE

FASASI Firdaos is a 9ys old basic 4 pupil of Islamic International School - IIS, Kishi.
Firdaos will be demonstrating her mastery of arts of legislative processes from moving motions and voting to passing bills into laws.

During the IREPO MODEL LEGISLATURE Conference scheduled to be held on Thursday 10th October, 2024 at the legislative Chamber of Irepo Local Government, students of IIS, Kishi will be simulating the Legislative House of Irepo Local Government using the order of proceedings blended with that of the National Assembly.

International Day of the Girl Child is observed annually on October 11th. In 2023, this significant day falls on a Wednesday, providing an opportunity for individuals, schools and communities to participate in activities and initiatives that support girls' rights and empowerment.

It is celebrated to address the issue faced by girls such as early marriage, deprivation from basic education and to empower them achieve every positive things they desire to achieve.
