Forthhills Schools was founded by Mrs. Agenyi-Isaac Onyinyechi in September, 2015. Frustrated by the intellectual timidity of traditional schools; she envisioned a new kind of academic institution where students would be equipped as agents of transformation and to honestly and directly address the problems facing the societies in the 21th century.
Onyinyechi has an extensive experience in the area of child development. She has worked at various levels of child development, as a teacher in different Schools namely; Starling Junior School Lekki, Living Waters School, Victoria Island, Lagos and Redeemers Foundation School, Ogudu G.R.A; Lagos . However, she has also attended many trainings that helped in building her skills for the development of the 21st century child such as; customer care training, pre-school training by Educational Development Centre for Schools, Bulletin Board Display training, 21st Century Class Room Delivery workshop, Introduction to Eduphonics Reading, Jolly phonics training Workshop, and Montessori Workshop by Greensprings Montessori Centre Lagos. All these are additions to her qualification as a core educationist; as she holds Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from Federal College of Education, Akoka, Yaba. She also holds a Bachelor of Education Degree in Educational Management from University of Ibadan and Master in Early Childhood Education from Lagos State University. She was the departmental best graduating student during her school period at University of Ibadan.She is also a member of Teachers Registration Counsel of Nigeria (TRCN).
The school was established to lay a solid foundation for the total, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually development of children. This it intends to do through the provision of all the necessary resources and facilities required to prepare its students to excel in all areas, as young leaders of tomorrow.
The School is registered to operate crèche, Nursery and Primary School. The School commenced operations in September, 2015 and currently is located at No. 7, Onasanya Street, Street, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos.
