TAHFIZ SECTION VACATION NOTICE

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

We pray that all our prayers, supplications, and acts of ibadah are accepted by Almighty Allah in this blessed month of Ramadan. Ameen.

The school management hereby announces the vacation of the Tahfiz Section until after Eid-ul-Fitr, when the College Section will be resuming from its own break, Insha Allah.

Resumption Dates Reminder:
1. College Section: Friday, 27th March, 2026
2. Tahfiz and Adult Section: Saturday, 28th March, 2026
3. Primary Section: Sunday, 29th March, 2026

NOTICE OF 2ND TERM EXAMINATION 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to notify students and guardians that our second term exams commence this Friday, 26th December 2025, and will run for two weeks, concluding on 4th January, 2026.

To ensure a smooth examination process, please note the following rules and regulations:

- School fee receipt is compulsory
- School ID cards must be worn at all times
- Proper school dressing is required
- Mobile phones are strictly prohibited
- Punctuality is mandatory: arrive 30 minutes before each exam
- Exam malpractice will not be tolerated

Students are expected to adhere to the above rules.

Resumption of Academic Activities Following Stakeholders Intervention

This is to inform all students and guardians of Ubaidulwahab Schools, Keffi, that the Keffi Local Government, following the intervention of the Schools' Director and some stakeholders, has lifted the temporary suspension order. All Arabic and Islamic schools in Keffi have been directed to resume academic activities and conclude examinations as scheduled in the academic calendar.

Students across all sections — college, primary, and Tahfiz — should note that full academic activities have resumed as normal.

May the Almighty continue to guide our affairs and grant lasting peace to our communities and the nation at large.

Temporary Suspension of Academic Activities for All Sections in Compliance with the State Government's Directive

Following the directive from the state government and the recent resolution by the Board of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Ubaidulwahab Schools will be observing a break from all academic activities until the government lifts the current school closure order.

The school management urges all students to continue reading and preparing for their upcoming revision and examinations, which will commence immediately after the suspension is lifted.

All staff are also reminded to submit their examination questions to the Examination Office within the coming week unfailingly.

We pray for the safety and peace of our local government area, the state, and the nation at large.

Ubaidulwahab Old Students Hold 2nd Quiz Competition for College Section

The Ubaidulwahab Old Students' Association, Keffi (UBWOSAK) successfully hosted the second batch of its inaugural Quiz Competition for the college section at the school premises. The event commenced on sunday, 9th November, 2025 at around 9:00 am, with students gathered to support their respective gender-based teams — boys versus girls.

The first round witnessed a fierce contest, with the boys dominating the early questions. However, the girls mounted an impressive comeback, ending the round in a 15-15 tie.

The second round, which focused on Arabiyyat subjects, saw the boys narrowly edge the girls by a single point 11-10, securing overall victory across both rounds with boys 26 points and the girls 25points.

One anonymous student showed support by donating ₦15,000, of which ₦10,000 went to the winners and ₦5,000 to the runners-up.

The College's Hausa Teacher in person of Mr. Bashir Isa also pledged a 30 minute session with the association at NBS Radio Station Keffi which was extremely appreciated by the school's Director and the association.

All participants were awarded certificates of participation, a customized 40-leaves exercise book, and a pen.

The association’s President, Abubakar Sadiq Yunus, gave a vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the school management for their cooperation and dedication since the school's inception.

The Vice President, who also served as the MC, added vibrant energy to the event with his comedic flair and lively humour, keeping the audience engaged and entertained throughout. He praised the school director, Dr. Abdulwahab U. Aboki, for his lasting impact on students, noting that the school inspired him to become an education entrepreneur. He now owns a school with full sections and pledged to register his graduating students for the NBAIS exams through his alma mater.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Abdulwahab U. A. appreciated the old students' association for their commitment and prayed for their continued success and unity and hoped for more initiatives from the association.
