Health Sensitization Visit by Health4Kids Trust
Our school was honoured to welcome Mrs. Grace Ojobo of Health4Kids Trust, an international NGO, through the support of our PTA Executive led by Mr. Great Idachaba.
During the visit, pupils were educated on healthy living, with focus on:
Drinking enough clean water daily and avoiding excessive sugary drinks
Personal and environmental cleanliness
Proper brushing of teeth (twice daily, correct technique)
The session was highly interactive and enlightening, helping pupils understand how good habits prevent diseases and support better learning.
In addition, Health4Kids Trust supported less-privileged pupils with school bags, exercise books, sandals, and T-shirts, while other pupils received water bottles, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and pencils. The school also received a first aid box, with assurances of continued partnership.
The school and PTA sincerely appreciate Health4Kids Trust for this impactful visit and their commitment to the health and wellbeing of our pupils. 💙👏

These are ten effective ways for parents to help their children revise topics during examinations:
1. Create a Study Schedule
Work with your child to plan a realistic study timetable that covers all subjects and allocates sufficient time for each topic.
2. Review Notes and Materials Together
Go through your child's class notes, textbooks, and study guides, ensuring they understand key points.
3. Practice Past Questions
Use past examination questions or practice tests to familiarize your child with the exam format and improve their confidence.
4. Summarize Topics with Flashcards
Help your child create flashcards with key terms, formulas, or concepts for quick and easy revision.
5. Use Active Recall
Ask your child questions about what they’ve studied to reinforce their memory and understanding.
6. Provide a Quiet Study Environment
Ensure your child has a distraction-free space for focused learning.
7. Incorporate Educational Tools
Utilize online resources, apps, or videos to make learning engaging and interactive.
8. Encourage Group Study
If possible, organize study sessions with classmates to discuss challenging topics and learn collaboratively.
9. Teach Through Real-Life Applications
Relate academic concepts to everyday situations to enhance comprehension and interest.
10. Motivate and Offer Breaks
Encourage your child with positive reinforcement and ensure they take regular breaks to avoid burnout.
These methods can help make the revision process effective and stress-free for both parents and children.
