Al-Qalam university Katsina to commence screening of New applicants from Monday 16th October 2017.

Al-Qalam University hosts Islamic Scholar of International repute.

United States based Islamic scholar, Dr Bilal Phillips has urged Al- Qalam University not to relent in pursuing the overall objective of establishing the institution.

The Islamic Scholar stated this during a courtesy visit to the management of the University shortly before he conducted a Pre-Khutba Juma’at sermon at the central mosque of the University on Friday, 6th October 2017.

Dr Phillips who is the Chancellor, Islamic Online University also believed that Al-Qalam University has a significant role to play in shaping the thinking of the younger generation in the pursuit of positive values and genuine nation building.

He appreciated the support the University is giving to students from this part of the country who are under going various programmes through the online platform of his University.

Receiving the renown Scholar, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Al-Qalam University Dr. Muslim Ibrahim commended the determination and commitment of the International Scholar in propagating Islam in different parts of the world.

After the courtesy visit, Dr Phillips proceeded to the central mosque of Al-Qalam University where he delivered the Pre-Khutba Juma’at Sermon in which he admonished the students to be upright and honest in all their activities. The climax of the sermon was when he asked the students to take a special oath that they would not indulge in any form of examination malpractice.

Dr Phillips who is also an author and TV presenter left Katsina for Abuja on Friday evening after delivering a Public lecture on the importance of peace and role of law which took place at Muhammad Dikko Stadium, Katsina.

May Allah azza Wa jaal increase us all in Imaan and grant us understanding of the Deen.. Aameen Aameen Aameen..

As we celebrate this eid, it is necessary that we ponder and reflect.. Prophet Ibrahim alaihi salaam prayed and seek that Allah grants him a child.. Allah grants him that child and tested him with the child..

Ibrahim alaihi salaam was ready to sacrifice, so is the child.. In total submission.. How much of such submission are we ready to give???

How much of such sacrifice can we offer for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa taala..

Whenever Allah blesses you with a thing.. It could be wealth.. Or anything.. Do not say: "I can't let go, I suffered before I got this or that"...

Who knows??

Allah Subhanahu Wa taala could be testing you..
