*WHAT IS PE******IA*
*Pe******ia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive s*xual attraction towards children/a child.*
~WHO IS A CHILD?~
A child is anyone below the age of 18. Also note that children are gifts from God and He expect us as earthly guardians to take proper Care of each and every one of them.
One of our major duties is to keep them away from this phycarist patients called pe*****le.
There are different ways children can be abused. Below are some:
*WHAT IS CHILD MOLESTATION*??
Child Molestation is also known as child s*xual abuse. It is a secret crime involving a range of indecent s*xual activities between an adult and a child.
*TYPES OF MOLESTATION* :-
-Defilement
-R**e
-Fi*****ng
-Making a child watch po*******hy
-Exposing the ge***al to kids
-Indecent touching
-Fondling etc
*WHO COULD ABUSE YOUR CHILD*?
~ANYBODY~
Studies show that over *95%* of s*xually abused children are abused by persons known or close to the child or the child's family.
*ABUSERS ARE MOSTLY NOT STRANGERS*.
They are right there in your house, co-tenants, family members, lesson teachers, neighbours. Their friends in school, hostel, classmates,class/school teachers, cousins, uncles, nephew, niece, fathers, step fathers, grand fathers, imams, choir masters, pastors, confidants, security guard, maids, family /school drivers, After school teachers , teachers, mummy's friend, daddy's friend, caregivers, strangers........ the list can go on.
Please, do not ask if any of the above is possible because, there is no case of any of the above that has not happened.
*CAUSES OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE*
Parental negligence, carelessness, non-challant attitude.
It is as bad as *NO ONE CAN BE TRUSTED.*
We have a child presently carrying a baby that belongs to her father.
*OTHER CAUSES* :-
~Absentee parents.
~Parents who do not observe.
~When the kids are not informed.....
~What you watch with your kids.
~Indecent dressing by our children.
*WHERE CAN YOUR CHILD BE SEXUALLY ABUSED*??
✓On your bed
✓Right under your nose, under your roof
✓In the school environment- class, toilet etc
✓Hostel
✓Parties
✓In their room (siblings)
✓Deserted/Abandoned places
✓ When you are distracted etc.
Perpetrators look for opportunities.
*5mins is enough to cause a life long damage*.
*HOW DO PAEDOPHILES GET THE VICTIMS*?
1.Grooming
2.Baits
a. Emotional bait
b. Gift bait
c. Financial bait
d. Familiarity & Respect bait.
3. Child grooming.
Befriending and establishing an emotional connection with a child, and sometimes the family, to lower the child's inhibitions with the objective of s*xual abuse. -Wikipedia :-
Gaining the trust of a minor with the intention of having s*x relationship with them.
*HOW TO IDENTIFY A POSSIBLE ABUSER* :-
A. Always trying to be around your child or vice versa
B. Child feels uncomfortable when he/she sights the abuser or when the abuser is around.
C. Easily and conveniently accept to care for your child while you are away.
D. Can be hard on the child, especially if the child is rejecting his *moves.*
If any of the above is observed, please, shine your eyes. Or sometimes, your child might feel uncomfortable/rejecting to go to the person when you send him or her. Or even go for holiday.
*S*xual abuse happens among siblings. So, set rules, separate their rooms, separate their beds.*
*We had a case of twins having s*x with each other. When they were asked, they said; "we see mum and dad do same".*
Why should we be that careless?
Because of the carelessness of both parents, their innocent minds were polluted and their lives were destroyed.
*WHAT A PERPETRATOR SAYS TO A CHILD WILLING TO SPEAK OUT:*
•I will kill you
•You will die
•Your mummy will hate you
•Your mummy will beat you
•Your mummy will blame you.
•Your mummy and your daddy will die.
•He could cut the child, lick the blood and say: *this is a blood covenant between us, the day you tell is the day you die.*
Teach your child The *SRR* action:-
S - Shout/scream
R - Run
R - Report
*POSSIBLE SIGNS THAT YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN ABUSED:*:-
✓Isolation
✓Aggressiveness
✓Anxiety/Fear
✓Difficulty in walking
✓Sudden drop in academic performance
✓Poor social interaction
and so on.
*OTHERS*
✓S*xually Transmitted Diseases.
Their dressing is important, dress to cover them please. Teach them privacy. They must knock and seek permission before they enter your room.
It is wrong to bath them together irrespective of s*x.
*PLEASE NOTE!*
*children never lie about abuse* If your child tells you someone is trying to mess with him or her.... Please believe the child and respond appropriately.
*EFFECT OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE*
-The abused child could become a *serial* abuser
-Depression
-Suicidal thoughts
-Stigma
-Guilt
-Lifelong psychological trauma
-Aggression
-Withdrawn
-Infected with STDs
Etc
*THE BOYS*
More often than not,we pay more attention to the girls than the boys.
With my years of experience, boys are mostly victims- a**l s*x but because we *do not pay attention.*
For them, healing is a terrible process.
*WATCH OVER YOUR BOYS*
Something might just be happening and you perceive not. Do not be a *hard* mum. Strike a balance between love and discipline.
Give your children S*x Education proportional to their age. A child of age 2 or even less is due for S*x Eduacation.
Tell them what nobody must do with their body.
Tell them to *speak out.*
In the house, everyone must respect one another's privacy.
Child molestation is real. It is more painful if it happens under your very nose.
Please bond more with our Jewels, we want to receive them back to school bigger and better than they left. Above all, pray for them always. The child molesters will not go near them but we must play our part.
May God help us all.
A PEACEFUL EVENING TO OUR FOLLOWERS.

***HOW TO HANDLE A DIFFICULT SUBJECT ***
It's been widely believed that mathematics is the most difficult subject in school. But I chose to disagree with the opinion. In the sense that, Mathematics being known as an abstract representational system used in the study of numbers, shapes, structure, change and the relationships between these concepts.
So, a person's ability to count, calculate and of the use of different systems of mathematics at different levels should be improving through constant PRACTICE by the learner (students).
For instance, if a person chooses to own a car in a short while. Definitely, the person is expected to register with DRIVING SCHOOL where he or she would be taught different driving skills and rules in the use of the road in order to DRIVE SAFELY everyday!!! No one will expect a car bought to be dumped at home without being of any use to the owner, who is done with all the driving lessons. Apparently, the learner will soon start forgetting all he has learned about DRIVING, if not put into constant practice by driving the car!!!
Same way, most subjects assumed to be DIFFICULT also needed to be handled by learners (students). As a student, you're expected to put into CONSTANT PRACTICE or STUDY of whatever you are taught in each lesson. HOW TO MAKE THAT MOST DIFFICULT SUBJECT INTO MOST EASY SUBJECT(S) :-
* Plan a personal timetable to PREP with, arranging the subjects in the order of the MOST DIFFICULT to the LESS DIFFICULT of 2- subjects per day!
* Plan to always have a good nap or siesta of about 1hr : 30mins each day after taking your lunch. This helps to relax your body system, especially your brain that had been in use at school since morning.
* Get good textbooks to assist you in knowing more about what you've been taught in each subject. This helps you to have a deeper understanding of the topics treated by your teacher.
* Arrange to study with someone you feel comfortable with and that has a better understanding or more intelligent than you do. To assist you in getting some difficult topics right through some personal discussions together, e.g. a classmate or a senior in school or a private lesson teacher.
* Develop a mentality that helps you see challenges as what can be handled and not what you should runaway from.
* Learn to always ask questions at every point in time.
* Encourage yourself to be a great person who is born to make it, no matter what!
* Lastly, CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Did you become a teacher by training (that is, through school to acquire educational certificates like NCE, B. Ed, and so on). Or, you became a teacher by circumstance?
Relax! There's more to teaching than you think you know. You don't have to make teaching look so hectic or stressful. All you need is to be a MASTER in your FIELD OF SPECIALIZATION!!!
Learn to show passion in what you "know to teach" your students to the point where they desire to study your subject. Students only pass subjects that they know the teacher teaches with great passion and show great skills in.
So, WHO ARE YOU IN YOUR FIELD?
Can you be easily predicted or you're always full of surprises to your students? I guess the latter is better said about you than the former!
Go out of the box whenever you're teaching, to show your students the great potential embedded in you. You can do much more in making teaching fun to your students by :-
* Applying DRAMA METHOD to your process of teaching within the limited timeframe. Remember, people don't easily forget what they see and hear from a little playlet shown to them. Share the students into different groups to take different characters and give them few scripts to memorise. E.g. a topic in Home economics called THE FAMILY. The drama helps the other students seated, watching and listening to know the different people that make up the different types of families to be acted in a little playlet by their classmates. These students are used as the teacher's "teaching tool" improvised for the demonstration in the class of what a family is! Another lesson can then be used to round off the topic by the teacher. The IMPORTANCE of this drama is to help register some important things in their memory(the students) about "family".
* GET THE STUDENTS PREPARED AHEAD OF THE NEXT LESSON WITH THE TOPIC TO BE TREATED. Write all the subtopics in ballot papers and squeeze each. Then, select students at random to pick. Whatever each person picks is what he or she is to read ahead for. You then make the students selected at random (from 5-6 in number) become "group leaders". The remaining students in the class can then be shared into the 5-6 groups created with their leaders. Instruct each group leader and her members to go do a deep study of the subtopic picked by the leader to get themselves ready for either PRESENTATION DAY OR DISCUSSION DAY OR QUIZ DAY! Award marks to the students according to their performance and make this known to them as a teacher. IMPORTANCE OF THIS METHOD :- a) This method helps to ease the teacher of stress of being the only one doing the talking during the teaching process. b) It also helps the students to be actively involved in the teaching process and brings out different talents and knowledge displayed through them because everyone is working towards seeing his or her group wins! c) More so, this method helps the teacher as the "general overseer" to check out on how the students are being able to "express their minds and show their understanding of the subtopic" shared in unique ways. Then, the teacher comes around in another lesson to do "a rounding off" - SUMMARY of the topic with Q&A following.
*ORGANISE AN EXCURSION to explain a topic better e.g. a topic on THE EYE from either Basic science or Home economics as subjects that teach such topic can take the students in-turn to any general hospital in the state. Where these students can get to meet with experts(like opticians, occulists, ophthalmologists on this subject matter to illustrate more on the importance of eye to the body with an "image of an eye" or "an eye robot" to give a clearer understanding to the students watching and listening.
NOTE:- humans learn faster by what they can see, feel, smell, touch and so on. The excursion helps to broaden their knowledge and gives them the opportunity to know better than the little knowledge of the teacher about it.
* ORGANISE MORE PRACTICAL CLASSES :- most students love to show their ability to do something. After every demonstrative practical by a teacher, another lesson should be given to the students as a PRACTICAL CLASS. Arrange them in groups and oversee to whatever they are doing. E.g. in Agric science or Home economics or Basic science (talking about the junior section). Let them know marks will be awarded and you'll see every student taking the class seriously with so much enthusiasm to impress the teacher. Make the class lively by giving them the freedom or room to ask you questions as they go about the task ahead of them in case they miss anything. As a teacher, try to erase TENSION, PANIC and ANXIETY in them. Encourage the ones that are timid or scared to get it right. Though it's not an easy task getting everyone to be on same page as you teach. A class always involve the HIGH I. Q(intelligent quartile) and LOW I. Q. students. So, A trained teacher is expected to know how to carry everyone along by concentrating more on the LOW I. Q students so they don't feel neglected ( left out ).

WE CARE ABOUT YOU... 🤗!!!
Always believe in yourself in whatever you do. Never allow anyone tell you; You CANNOT be the BEST. Remember, You're UNIQUE and a SPECIAL being!!!
POSITIVE EFFECTS OF LOCK DOWN ON YOUR STUDIES:-
How have you been handling the challenges of this season of LOCKDOWN from COVID. 19 over your studies as a student?
This period should rather be enjoyed as a privilege to give enough ATTENTION to some subjects that have been given you tough time to UNDERSTAND!
Looking into these subjects and tackling them through internet, tutorials from that less busy uncle or aunt, mummy or daddy because of the ongoing pandemic.
This is a very great time to enjoy studying that has been made to look like "very impossible to do"!
In every family with educated parents, there's always that particular parent that might be good at a particular subject that is giving you so much headache. Perhaps, you can take the advantage of the full presence of that PARENT or other PERSONS living with you to help you with more understanding of the "subject matter".
Give your best to your studies at this season of LOCKDOWN and you will come out excellently prepared for GREAT SUCCESS when schools finally return to session.
........STAY AT HOME AND STAY SAFE!!!😷
*THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF INTELLIGENCE*
*Intelligence Quotient (IQ).
*Emotional Quotient (EQ).
*Social Quotient (SQ).
1. *Intelligence Quotient (IQ)*:- this is the measure of your comprehension ability", solve maths; memorize things and recall subject matters.
2. *Emotional Quotient (EQ)*:- this is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others; keep to time; be responsible; be honest; respect boundaries; be humble, genuine and considerate.
3. *Social Quotient (SQ)*:- this is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.
People that have higher EQ and SQ tend to go farther in life than those with high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools capitalize in improving IQ level while EQ and SQ are played down.
A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though he has an average IQ.
Your EQ represents your character; your SQ represents your charisma. Give in to habits that will improve these three Qs but more especially your EQ and SQ.
EQ and SQ make one manage better than the other.
Pls don't teach children only to be IQ but also to be EQ and SQ.
Now there is a 4th one :
A new paradigm
4. *The Adversity Quotient (AQ)*: the measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life and come out without losing your mind.
AQ determines who will give up in face of troubles, who will abandon their family or who will consider su***de.
To parents;
Expose children to other areas of life than academic. They should adore manual work (never use work as a form of punishment), sport and art. Develop their EQ, SQ and AQ. They should become multifaceted human beings able to do things independently of the parents.
Finally, do not prepare the road for the children. Prepare the children for the road.
EXPOSE THEM RIGHTLY!!! 😊
DEVELOP YOUR CHILD IN A PARTICULAR HANDIWORK....
A lot of parents focus too much on their children's certificates rather than help them to develop a HOBBY they might have observed in them before their university level.
No one is kicking against a child graduating with an excellent degree!!! All about the child's success shouldn't revolve round the certificate for his or her future survival.
My great question to students I come in contact with has always been "what else are you good at, aside the desired profession you want to pursue"???
And it pains me so much to hear lot of them say "nothing"! Just too bad to hear. Encouragement to develop a hobby should start with the parents before the society or the government.
As there are lots and lots of trades/ skills/ hobbies to get your child to develop his or herself in, especially during the vacations from school! These special skills range from sewing, baking, cooking, playing of any kind of musical instruments, shoe making, soap making, hairstyling, bead making, photography, singing, dancing, computer extra class, and other technical skills. As any of these mentioned above can help make your child standout among his or her peers in the future.
It's never too late to find out that particular hobby or skill already manifested by him/her that would need proper development! And if he has none you've observed in him, then suggest some of these listed here to the child to choose.
With such skills in our children, they can never lack something to do to keep busy, generate income and even help other people discover something unique about themselves too!
......THESE HOBBIES CAN BE WHOLE LOTS OF FUN, IF YOU GIVE IT A TRIAL!!!
