AMR CLUB BUK MOURNS THE PASSING OF YUSUF GARBA (ABBAN YARA)
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un(Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return)
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dedicated member of the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Club BUK, Yusuf (fondly known as Abban Yara). A 400-level student in the Department of Environmental Health Science, Yusuf returned to his Creator yesterday following a protracted illness.

The AMR Club BUK, in collaboration with the AMR Club NWU and ADMAP-BUK, proudly invites the entire university community to its Quiz and Debate Competition as part of the activities for the *World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) 2025.
This exciting event aims to create awareness on the growing threat of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and to encourage students to take part in discussions that promote responsible use of medicines.
