Today, we join the global community in marking World Tuberculosis Day, a reminder of the ongoing fight against Tuberculosis and its impact on individuals and communities. As future Medical Laboratory Scientists, we play a key role in early detection, accurate diagnosis, and the fight to reduce its spread.

Tuberculosis remains a major public health challenge, but with awareness, timely testing, and proper treatment, it is preventable and curable. Let us continue to educate, advocate, and support efforts aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding the disease.

Together, through knowledge and action, we can contribute to a healthier society.

Today, we celebrate our phenomenal 500-level graduating class, The Sentinels, on their successful sign-out. Surviving the demanding journey of MLS is no small feat, and you have all shown remarkable resilience and intellectual capacity.

You have set a standard of excellence for the lower levels to emulate. As you step out of the university environment and look toward your internships, NYSC, and professional practice, we have no doubt that you will continue to make BUK proud. The laboratory world is lucky to have you! 🔬✨

As I step away from my role as PRO I, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported me and worked alongside me in this administration – every conversation, every initiative, and every moment of collaboration has meant the world to me. It’s been an incredible honor to serve and represent our community, and I’ll always cherish the bonds we’ve built as I move forward to new endeavors!

Officially concluded my tenure as Public Relations Officer II of NIMELSSA BUK, and I’m humbled to have been honored with the Best Social Service Award!

This journey taught me more than I could have imagined:
