CONGRATULATIONS TROPICAL COLLEGE FAMILY

Today, being Saturday, September 02, 2023 Tropical College emerged the 2nd Position winner in a quiz competition organised by the NACHPN, Kano State Chapter. A total of 9 Colleges were invited and 7 participated including:
1. S*T Kano
2. S*T Bebeji
3. Tropical CHST
4. Emirates CHST
5. Aminu Dabo CHST
6. Arzet Versity CHST
7. Bichi Academy CHST
8. Alasan Dawanau CHST (absent)
9. Pyramid CHST (absent)

After series of rounds of high-geared encounters, the final results shows the following positions for the best three Institutions:
1. S*T Kano
2. Tropical CHST
3. Emirates CHST

This puts the S*T Kano on the overall best position, while Tropical CHST emerged as the overall second and overall best among private Colleges followed by Emirates CHST as the second position.

Kudos to our students for demonstrating high sense of moral and patriotism. Thumbs up to our hardworking lecturers. Regards to Management team headed by our abled Director for their unquantifiable support now and always.

In deep sorrow but total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, we announce the receipt news of passing away of our 200 level student of Diploma in Health Education and Promotion; Halifa Aminu Sani, who was involved in a fatal motor accident along State Road, Kano today around 3 pm. He was buried according to Islamic rites. A very obedient, dedicated and respectful student. We pray that Allah in His infinite mercies forgive his shortcomings and grant him the highest abode in Jannatul Firdaus. RIJF Halifa 😭

The Management´s of TCOHSAT wish to express profound gratitude to Almighty Allah SWT for the outcome of our today´s match with School of Hygiene, Kano which ended in a 3:2 score line. Team TCHOSAT have played flamboyantly but Allah SWT decreed that SOH would be victorious over us despite our teams 70% possession and and many deadly failed attacks. Once again, we thank God for the outcome and we accept it in good faith. We also wish to register our appreciation to our players for the game well played, members of the Technical Team for the proper coaching, our Students for their support to the team and all those who helped us in one way or the other. AWARD PRESENTATION:

On behalf of the Governing Council, Board of Directors and the Management of TROPICAL COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY, KANO, I wish to thank and appreciate all Public Health Students (Year 2021Graduating Students) for the Prestigious award presented to the Chairman Board of Directors, Alh Ahmed Idris, in recognition of his services to Humanity and Upliftment of Public Health Education in Nigeria.
One of the graduating students, FATIMA BELLO, presented the award to the first award recipient, Alh Ahmed Idris FCNA, Chairman Board of Directors (TCOHST), on behalf of the entire Public Health graduating students.
The two other awardees who were presented with MERIT AWARDS by the Chairman Board of Directors on behalf of Public Health Students were:
1.Alh Aliyu Idris Daneji, (Director General, TCOHSAT) who was recognised for his Exemplary Leadership style, Mentorship and Promotion of the College.

2. Alh Muhammad Abubakar Yahaya was recognised for his resilence and dedication which positively paddle the college to greater heights.
In his remark, the Chairman Board of Directors, Alh Ahmed Idris, urged the students to be good ambassadors wherever they found themselves. The Chairman also tasked the management to re-double its efforts in promoting the College for performance coupled with a result oriented outcome.
In delivering her speech on purpose of the visit, Khadija Adam Shuaibu, a graduating student, mentioned that the recipients were carefully selected after a rigorous process and that preparations have reached advanced stage to extend same gesture to other lecturers and staff of the College.
On a final note, I wish to commend the efforts of the organising committee and those who have contributed in one way or the other in making the visit a reality and a huge success.
