On 17 June 2026, Cyber Cadets Academy successfully hosted a Quantum Computing Workshop under its ongoing initiative, Quantum Tour Nigeria, in Abuja, bringing together students and professionals from diverse backgrounds to learn about one of the most transformative technologies of our time — Quantum Computing.

The goal of Quantum Tour Nigeria remains simple: to create awareness and introduce Nigerian students and professionals to the opportunities, challenges, and future impact of quantum technologies.

This workshop was hosted in collaboration with the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), an organization committed to advancing Nigeria's capabilities in deep and emerging technologies through talent development, innovation, and ecosystem building. We are proud to have partnered with an institution whose vision aligns with our mission of helping build a capable, sustainable, and globally connected quantum ecosystem in Nigeria.

The conversations do not stop here.

This workshop is only a starting point. We are taking these steps together because we share a common goal: ensuring that Nigeria is prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the quantum era. We remain committed to working with our partners until this vision becomes a reality.

We would like to sincerely thank all participants who attended and actively contributed to the discussions. The enthusiasm, curiosity, and engagement demonstrated throughout the session reaffirmed what we have always believed: Nigeria is home to a large number of talented and ambitious individuals across physics, mathematics, computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, and many other disciplines who are ready and willing to contribute to the global quantum ecosystem.

Quantum computing is no longer a distant future. It is happening now — and the decisions being made today about who builds it, who understands it, and who benefits from it will shape Nigeria's technological and economic future for the next fifty years.

The Quantum Tour Nigeria — Abuja Edition is a one-day orientation session designed to give students, professionals, and innovators a clear, practical, and accessible introduction to quantum computing and what it means for Nigeria.

Hosted in partnership between Cyber Cadets Academy and the NASENI Innovation Hub, and supported by the Africa Quantum Consortium — the continent's leading quantum technology coordination body — this session brings together Nigeria's emerging quantum community for a day of learning, discussion, and connection.

Participants will leave with a foundational understanding of what quantum computing is and how it works, awareness of the global quantum race and Nigeria's current position within it, knowledge of the real-world applications of quantum technology in sectors including financial services, healthcare, agriculture, cybersecurity, and energy, an understanding of the quantum cybersecurity threat — including the Q-Day timeline and what Nigerian institutions must do to prepare — and direct access to the Africa Quantum Consortium's global network of quantum researchers, resources, and opportunities.

This session is not about theory for its own sake. It is about ensuring that Nigeria's next generation of hashtag , hashtag , and hashtag understands what is coming — and is ready to be part of building it.

Seats are strictly limited to 50 participants. This is intentional. The format is designed for engagement, interaction, and quality — not volume.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This session is designed for university students and recent graduates in physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, and related disciplines; software developers and IT professionals looking to understand emerging technology trends; startup founders and entrepreneurs in the technology, fintech, healthtech, and agritech sectors; professionals in financial services, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and healthcare who want to understand quantum's impact on their industry; and policy and government professionals with an interest in Nigeria's technology development agenda.

During our Digital Forensics Class with one of the student who have a degree in Criminology and now he is combining it with Digital investigation.

Learning how to extract and preserve evidence to find our who did what when and how, so that we can help improve the security of our country and be well prepared to support investigation both for local cases like scam operations disruption and investigation, child exploitation protection online and many more.

This is the goal of Cyber Cadets Academy and we will keep supporting students and professionals who want to build relavant skills in any domain of Cyber security and be ready to meet the global standard.

Remember Cyber Cadets Academy is always ready either for SIWES or internships for students from colleges and universities and for professionals and organisations that need to learn and understand how they can help in protecting, investigating and improving the safety of their digital infrastructure and customers.
